It is not the question of weak top leadership of the political parties of today. Leadership will grow among people gradually once a real democracy takes root in the country. Democracy forces the leaders to modify their style and creates competition among the parties to speak of their respective election manifestos with the inclusion of their development programs for the country during the tenure they are elected for.

Without democracy today, they are free not to open their ideas among the public. So, a functional democracy is essential to gradually change the top echelon of the parties. By the way, why an inexperienced Begum Tareque is highly appreciated by the BNP people to take up the BNP leadership?
