I have learned that BNP is looking to challenge the validity of this election in the court. Will this do bear any fruit?

No...and tbh BNP doesn't have any concrete evidence to prove anything either. Everyone knows it was rigged. No one has proof.

No because the elections have been conducted in a doubtful way.

That doesn't warrant a UN security intervention. Elections in Russia are rigged. China doesn't even have elections. In many countries opposition rejects election results. Shahbaz Sharif did the same with Pak election, IIRC. Not to mention foreign observes of the election are saying it was a fair elections.

I guess Army is the only one who could be the game-changer but they look totally indifferent to the situation.

BD needs temporary military takeover...but not with the current COAS.

What if the polling agents of BNP become witness and say they were not allowed to enter the premises of the polling centers? But I doubt they will dare to witness at the court.

Such witness will be taken as partisan witness , come on man , it's Bangladesh and few peoples are honest here , you know that ! Even if you tell the truth , others will not believe easily !

A dozon or so foreign observers were hired by govt. from India, Nepal and some from African Muslim country(OIC) and were given a nice tour of some Dhaka polling stations. They saw long line of voters and then done a press conference in the evening. Very simple job.

BNP did a big mistake of not challenging the ban of video and shut down of internet by Election Commission. It was well known to fascilitate vote rigging.

Finally I believe if BNP will not take oath, then BNP will be permanently vanished from Bangladeshi politics like muslim league. BNP took part in this election and this election is actually a massively rigged election. But since BNP participated and trapped, so now if they do not go and take oath in parliament and try to start movement on street again , then AL will have better chances to annihilated them, so that they energy ever can participate in election and other parties completely replace them.

@Skies , I would like to hear something from you about this. What is your opinion as a BNP supporter? What do you want ? Taking BNP oath in parliament, or not ?

Army were deployed as consoling price for opposition their duty was to petrol the street not quelling the violence . if they had taken action against vote rigging happened before 30th dec. then we could see some differences but they were handy caped .

Don't you think it was a planned terrorist activity jointly organised by RAW and old Mukti Bahani a.ka.a AL to scare the peaceful people of Bangladesh to get intended results.
