What did him or the others think was going to happen when you attack the police with stones and grenades?! This is a law and order situation. don't think any police force in the world is going to allow blatant vandalism, destruction of property and most importantly attack on its officers. For those in denial, please try assaulting a cop in the US and see what happens to all of your 5 senses.
If the protest was a Gandhian "peace" protest, then you have an argument against the use of excessive force. But clearly this wasn't the case. So pay the price Kashmiris.

You make an excellent point. @lastofthepatriots is in America. Maybe he can chuck a few bricks at the cops there. Then he and his friends could proceed to push a squad car into the river.

Not sure why the protests stopped now ... may be they are not getting the payment now ?? He seems to be super man who can survive after having 100 pillets in his head .

I think this is due to agressive strategy of Modi. Thousands in jail, dozens died, curfew imposed from months. No people on street these days to protest

Pellets guns are pretty non-lethal when used from a distance. But due to security forces being ordered to pursue most restraint they don't use it until the crowd comes very near after which they become lethal as they disperse uncontrollably and then can hit the eye. Anyways the protest have died down and the alternate chili weapon has also been introduced for crowd control. Also the story of sitting in the tea-stall and having tea with friends when pellet guns were being fired on violent protesters is how true is anybody's guess.

I read a bit more about the pellet gun use on Al Jazeera now and it's awful. It's like Israeli tactics.

Why isn't Pakistan making good documentaries about Kashmir,to show to the world in big movie festivals? Why don't you invite journalists from around the world to show them the situation?

Cuz current Pakistan is ruled by dollarkhor munafiqs who have billions in business with india and have thrown Kashmir cause under the bus to protect their own personal interests. Pakistani rulers only use Kashmir cause to make the people stupid and get their support. Under the table their hand in hand with Indians. Instead of doing anything for Kashmir, Pakistani rulers have turned Pakistan into Kashmir.
Pakistan is the reason why all the Indian oppression in Kashmir goes unchecked. They them self are cowards but go one step further and crackdown on Kashmiri mujahideen who fight to end indian oppression. This is current Pakistani rulers tho from 9/11 onwards.

The current brass of military are cowards, they could have easily liberated Indian occupied Kashmir, but obviously have interests elsewhere, all this talk of liberating Indian part of Kashmir is mere fantasy for now.
