It's not just colonialism. What about neo-colonialism, where our leaders derive legitimacy not from public support but american ashirbaad. since public support is not on top of their priorities list, governance goes to shit. I think that's one reason why governance is better in the west overall. Because their leaders know they have to rely on public support and not some neo-colonial overlord. Can't argue with that. But stats in isolation can give only limited insights, and without context mean nothing at all.
Too many ifs and buts in any answer to that. We don't really know what the societies of erstwhile colonised states would look like if they hadn't been colonised. Thailand and Mongolia come to mind as one of the few non Western countries that weren't colonised. Both seem to be doing fine, so maybe it would have turned out well. But I also think that we south Asians are too hot blooded, with too much khujli, and we would keep needling each other.

Candace owens, that bitchThese are black conservatives. Have a look at Candace Owens. Talk about self hate and identity crisis. You have a whole army of such self proclaimed black conservatives who thing they can intellectually convimce you how wrong the black community is for defending their own rights. You will not hate, but vomit.
Vomit is the right word, my friend.
