I don't understand this logic. White victims are also killed by police officers yet it does not make the news. It only matters if it's black.

As for "police violence" and shooting "unarmed" people. Ask yourself, if you were a police officer would you let someone unarmed attack you and grab your weapon? Would you let someone potentially shoot you if you give them repeated orders to do something and they ignore you and proceed to reach for what could be a weapon?

There is nothing wrong with American police. I would say confidently that American police is better than Pakistani or indian police any day. South Asian police are notorious for their corruption and political connections

Secondly, you have to keep in mind that Police officers are also human beings like me and you, and if they feel their lives are under threat then they will use force to protect themselves.

The best thing to do is comply with the commands of the officers rather than resist them and make sudden moves. If you got nothing to hide then you got nothing to worry about.

The biggest problem is police entering into high crime areas. This makes them jumpy vs being in some area where nothing happens. Both the guys shot were carrying guns (because they were in high crime areas). So now you got an already jumpy cop dealing with somebody who has a gun.

If I want to get shot I can head into a high crime area with a gun and grab the attention of the police. If I do something dumb I'll probably get shot at.
