sorry I disagree with you since the slain parents were against violence although they followed the same Saudi state sponsored sect.
I am not interested in discussing the jurisprudence of Ibn Taymiyah or make excuses for him, I had enough of it during my degree course in Islamic university in Islamabad back int he 90s.

you missed the point on purpose or by mistake. Ibn Tamiyah was a Muslim and so are all others who slaughter in the name of Islam. for any non-Muslim it is enough reason to hate on entire Islam and make derogatory remarks about Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad PBUH, I am not talking hypothetically but talking a regular occurrence here and talking about Muslim extremism the Iranian clergy is no better in its brutality towards Iranian civilians specially those punished on breaking the "morality" code. looking at how Iran stones women to death and how some Saudi mullahs praise Daesh or Al Qaeda.. any outsider just decides that the entire faith is unfortunately rotten along with its followers.

we went off tangent here. the subject was that Bin Soleman is admitting the role of his country on the direction of the west to spread "wahabism" as he is quoted saying in the American newspaper.
for me, initially, such "admission" was surprising and out of character for the crown prince because he is very much a US/ Israeli partner in redrawing the Middle eastern map. so this statement was out of line and I am mildly worried if it angers the west and the crown prince is punished in some way like King Faisel was assassinated on behest of CIA.

that said, I am waiting for someone in Iran to admit to its part in causing chaos in middle east and beyond in its proxy war with KSA and please don't insult me by saying Iran has done no such thing because we have caught trained agents men and material proving the Iranian subversive role in Pakistan. granted , it was never in the scale and audacity of the Saudis but nonetheless it did do its damage and contributed to a fragmented society and schism from which we might never ever recover.

despite all you listed Prince Suleman seems to be taking a corrective approach .by highlighting the wrong use of Islam to counter Russia.
