Communism basically says that SINCE we can't fill the gap b/w the Rich & the poor & also can't do anything to uplift poor so it's better to bring down the Rich to the level of a poor & create a MIRAGE of equality.

It's no wonder that communist ideology failed in every nook & corner of this world.

Why can't a hard working person deserve to be rich & should pay for the wrong policies of Govt.?

Why as a Doctor/Engg. I don't have a right to buy a property so that my family's well being??

Just because I am rich, does that mean that I am responsible for others being poor??

I have no idea how Demi,Indischer or Ayush became half commies. But to remind you the idea of communism had never been bad at all. It teaches the importance of social equality.When most of the wealth and natural resources of India are in the hands of few rich you might take a note on the principle of the communists.Many rich and well established bengalis left their family business or occupations and lived rest of their lives just on party pension during 70's. Sadly, like rest of the Communist countries, the party leadership has been bagged by power hungry folks who never believed in leftist ideologies.

Indischer is a left -lib no doubt about that at all. Demi is a "secular" and Ayush I suspect is a "secular" too. Most of them are a result of our education system which has been socialist and secular in orientation heavily influenced by the Bengali folk in JNU. So they do qualify as half commie. Economically they may now favor capitalism, but everything else about them screams of all the other paraphernalia that went with communism, social justice, secular beliefs, etc, etc.

Communism was born flawed. That is why it never worked anywhere in the world. Just like Islam, people keep giving excuses after excuses as to why it failed, but fail it does all the time. The thing is it does not understand human nature. It is an ideology based on entitlement and false social equality. Rights but not duties.

Very good argument. You have spotted the Achilles heels of the Communists and here is the point this ideology had been failed again and again. Not necessarily we have to bring Australia to Kenyan level but it must be ensured that the gap decreases significantly by uplifting the standard of the Kenyans.Here Communism needed a reconciliation with capitalism. Look at the poorest states mostly Maoists affected areas. Don't you see the growing inequality between the urban middle class and those who still live on ants and rats? My salary have increased multifolded during the last 3/4 years but what about these people? They still have no access to the main stream economical developments.

I think this is the very basis of Sen-Bhagwati arguments in development over economic redistribution. This argument will continue to haunt us forever.
