Big tourism plans in store for Bangladesh .

.
Chittagong region is the only part of BD is actually tourism worthy. Nobody wants to see plain green agricultural land and over populated Dhaka.

Sylhet region, Sundarbans too. Dhaka does many nice historic buildings like pink Palace, lalbagh fort and many others, and the monuments, parliment buidling itself a quite a beautiful creation of late Luis Kahn. There’s many things to visit in Dhaka. Yes it’s not mountainous, but if you want that then you go to Spain, Iran, Switzerland or Afghanistan. I live in a part of UK, right now many mountains and hills near my town and it gets boring seeing it all times. Flat doesn’t mean its dull. Mountainous areas only looks nice like in Switzerland, places as such where there’s activities to do and house well built with nice roads etc.

In BD, no doubt best places to visit are in places which are in: Chittagong Division, Sylhet Division, Sundarbans, Khulna.

Don't exacerbate the heat bro.
Indonesia is most biodiversity rich country along with thousands islands.
She is quite rich in nature resources also.

Alas! We don't have that advantage.
In subcontinent , India is gigantic and it nature , art , culture and cuisines are top attractions.
Sri Lanka is a scenic beauty, kinda different from India. But anyone will love to visit Sri Lanka. I been lucky to visit Lanka twice.

But we want to develop and promote our idea and services, there is no wrong in highlighting our cards. This thread is also about Bangladesh tourism.

Peace
Regards.
Giant Salties or Estuary Crocs are found In Australia and Sri Lanka as well, No need to go to some god forsaken swampland to see them, So goes for Tigers.. India and Nepal have more than enough well managed national parks and well developed tourist hot spots for that, So like i said try explaining that to a stupid keyboard warrior who think Indonesia has nothing over some swamp.. :sarcastic:

Yes i realize that, Bangladesh has potential and i wish it the best because i personally know B'Deshi's in real life are down to earth hard working people, They have my utmost respect for what they have achieved.. My response was to the delusional retard of the stronk brigade here on PDF that always try to belittle another country in attempts chest beat about some fantasy, Without an iota of knowledge about the wider world.. In this instance Indonesia

And why do you spend so much time on someone else's forum like the loser you are?
Now, can you advise the last time a BD poster actually posted something on your section?

PS - No-one was belittling Indonesia but making it clear that just because Indonesia failed in something, that does not necessarily mean that BD will. There are big differences between BD and Indonesia but I cannot be bothered typing for the dumb here.

PDF mean Pakistan Defence Forum little Bongle, Not your Swampy Bog Forum.. You have no say in what and where i post.. :sarcastic:

Stop posting BS, Then no one will need to retort your stupid little rants, Or better stick to your day job and leave these discussions for learnt adult individuals

They got a million+ "tourists" last year....they call them rohingya and they will be "touring" BD for a long time ;)

Lol.. Ok little Bongle, Not the first and unfortunately for the rest of us wont be the last time you had to withdraw with a stupid oneliner after getting bitchslapped for trying to be too smart, Or in your case just smart.. Bye now hope you will keep your word unlike Mr. Bad CGI.. :sarcastic:

You know how big Bangladesh it is? And how big Indonesia it is? Indonesia at least a dozen times much wider and with population only half more than Bangladesh, naturally we got much Natural and virgin heavy rainforest along with millions acres untouched mangrove forest as Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world. No kidding, naturally we got more to offer than what Sundarbans cant, but in reality and cost development its much easier to developt Bali, Jogjakarta along with Komodo National park and Raja Ampat compared with National Park in East Kalimantan or Jambi province.

You just dont throw away money to sinkhole bottom without much result.

LOL, it just frankly amazes me how much they have to pull down another country to make up somehow for BD failure on something....and create more animosity in the end....when they should be just humble and give kudos and strive to do better on their end (emulate where possible etc).

Indonesia is an established behemoth in Asia tourism (11.5 million tourist arrivals, 12.5 billion USD revenue in 2016)....I would know having been there plenty myself....be it cultural, environment etc... In fact I dont think I found anywhere in the world that compares for snorkeling and scuba diving around the marine reefs etc...that are being preserved and kept untouched as much as possible. Indonesia overall is doing good balance act I find....I have not ventured East of Lombok yet...but plan to do so....recently I watched some ppl visiting as far east as sumba and west timor. BTW how developed would you say is the tourism sector in papua (irian jaya)?

@pr1v4t33r @Logam42

LOL @Gibbs , just ignore the BD "salties" as much you can bro.

Look at this on-the-dole Australian underclass immigrant's post,

"leave these discussions for learnt adult individuals". Well "learnt" I definitely am not. Are you "learnt"?? :omghaha:

Huge numbers of these underclass South Indians are going to countries with generous dole policies like Canada and Australia - I wonder why? But no matter how many measly dollars these underclass idiots get in the dole check - their snively underclass habits never get reformed. Just look at their language and confrontational habits in this forum.

No wonder White Canadians and Australians are getting more right wing now and trying to stop underclass immigration from these cesspool areas. Earlier in the last century - the British got these folks to come to our country for doing two labor things, menial jobs and being toilet cleaners or sewage drain cleaners.

I met a Chinese cop in the Bay area once and had to explain the traits of different classes of subcontinental people. He told me he gets nauseated at the unkempt ugly sight of some of the underclass South Indians and that they are wearing out the welcome for the rest of the Indians/Pakistanis/Bangladeshis (I'd agree). Nasty behavior AND shabbily dressed - now there's a wonderful combo!

Some of them can get downright nasty esp. the Sanghi types. Get a load of the following (I thought this was some comic relief thing  - then I realized it's serious bravado stuff.)

Get a load of the following

Get a load of the 1971 victim pictures first (reality of what BD was, is and will be forever)

Thing's get downright nasty in reality in the swamp ...so it sticks with you (chetona + jamaati stronk lot) 24/7 too who had to save your lousy pathetic effeminate behinds (definitely nothing that could be found in the swamp to do that)....and who owned those behinds before it (and now the ownership is transferred of course).

The shonar complex I call it :D....man those days of the week (malaun gods...really?) you use, that Indian nationalist's poem you use as an anthem in prostrating humility, and the truckloads of women who arrive in border brothels each day (BSF bullet used on BD "men" givens them the liberty for their dreams finally?) say it all on the ground.

Then we have this reality on actual swamp cretins....even with all of that "mistreatment/bullying" BD effeminates cry about here w.r.t India:

“We come to India for treatment because we know that here the quality of medication and treatment is far superior to Dhaka. It’s more expensive, but it’s a matter of life and death. We sold land to come here,

https://indianexpress.com/article/i...ess-bangladeshis-stranded-in-kolkata-4370748/

It really doesn't get much more shameless than that anywhere in the world. Forget about even bringing up the "Indian" restaurants the chetona (70% poverty) crowd have to do when the finally get to swim to safer shores, taking advantage of the war going on in places (same places that frankly The Economist says Dhaka is about as liveable as ):

Like I say Indonesia has neither Bengal Tiger or 20ft man eating crocodiles. BD also has river dolphins dude.
Being bigger does not mean better.:D

We shall see whether a large number of tourists can be attracted.
We have been seeing million tourist arrival tales since Pakistan time. Now, exactly when you guys will make it happen? Instead of waiting for foreign tourists, BD Tourism guys should focus on the local tourists. BD people actually like to visit and see many places. I expect them to be within BD instead of going to India in scores.

Idiot, why do you bemean other countries like Indonesia where the govt. is expecting 20 million tourist arrival? You are a real dumb guy never seen even a tiny part of the world except your own room. Do not you feel shame about what you write all the time? Do you think a country's tourism sector will improve by just wishing? Read an excerpt from Wiki.

"According to the World Travel and Tourism Council, the direct contribution of travel and tourism to Indonesia's GDP in 2014 was US$26,162 million constituting 3.2% of the total GDP. By 2019, the Indonesian government wants to have doubled this figure to 8 percent of GDP and the number of visitors needs to double to about 20 million. The tourism sector ranked as the 4th largest among goods and services export sectors".

Callous 300 taka-tea chotoloks are out of touch with reality of how much they depend on South Indian's hearts and charity:

India’s best-known cardiac surgeon Dr Devi Shetty says he feels “sad” to see Bangladeshi mothers carrying their newborn babies and travelling all the way to Bangalore for a simple procedure.

The real Bangladeshis are obviously found outside chetona ego cocoon....ones that toil severely for their daily bread and actually sacrificed the blood, sweat and tears in 1971, rather than live in comfort in foreign country (if they are lucky to not be like the 99% of even those BD's that dont over there) and demean countries and peoples that do much better than them with whatever shonar complex strikes their fancy.

In reality the videos of Dhaka street scenes are quite telling....as are the fact that Bangladesh still consumes energy per capita less than the region did in the 50s and 60s.

But, guys like @UKBengali think even a tiny 10,000 MW production of power is good. Actually, these Chetona guys do not understand what really is the progress of a country. This is why they go after per capita GDP instead of making Dhaka clean that may attract the foreign tourists. I do not think @UKBengali has ever been out of BD. If so how he does not know about a developed country and why he is living in his fantasy world?

Now, this delusional guy will come out saying BD is behind because of no development during Pakistan time. Stupid ignorant!!!
