I'd rather we work towards regional integration but our history is replete with such attempts and the ensuring fallouts. We've too much bad blood, it'll take a gargantuan amount of diplomacy and a lot of time to bring us together.

India can be put on the right track by only defeating militarily and its not going to happen soon and same applies for Pakistan so its all swings and roundabouts. India doesn't want to relinquish control over stolen lands of Kashmir hence there is no peace and it will continue for the foreseeable future until India implode within.
We are not desperate for peace with India unless Kashmir settlement takes place so lets India enjoys QUAD or Hindutva or fascism or what ever do we care or need to care? LOC is always going to be hot and India uses it that way for the domestic consumption to fill their empty souls, media sensations and elections. Line in the sand is drawn as long as you stay on your side of the line and keep your shit too yourself otherwise a big smack will follow simple as that and lets get on with our lives.
US is always going to be the user and abuser as all previous kingdoms and Empires before them and its for not so super powers to avoid the temptation of falling for some glittering crumps, toys and sharing wine at the lower tables as higher tables are for Europeans only. Browns superpowers are always going to be caught out and will look odd sipping wine their. Hey if Indians can use whiting creams to look good and boast their egos then it must be good for them until whites comes back with the signs on their front doors Indians and dogs are not allowed and that will be the sight to remember.
