The British named india after the famous "Indus River" that predominantly runs through modern day Pakistan. The Indus River was talked about a lot by the Greeks and other early European civilisations. Especially since Alexander the Great was nearly killed and defeated there in what is now Multan, Pakistan.

Neither would Pakistan be unstable post 9/11 if the US didn't threaten to bomb it "to the stone age" for not fighting its failed war on terror, resulting in Afghan terrorists entering the country, with full support of India.

Pakistan has offered Missile Free South Asia, Nuke Free South Asia, etc and India rejected all of these.

Now I usually not going to be civilized with indian because due to extreme nationalism brainwashing, its impossible to talk sense with you bunch, but I will try to give it a go with you. Most population in China doesn't speak or read English but the younger generation do but still that percentage is very low so most don't even know the anti China rhetoric have went to the point of insane over at the land of hindus.

China government works by not preaching extreme nationalism because that is counter productive in developing the economy, you can't trade with extreme nationalism mindset, so the media is heavily controlled and censored and you mention it is Chinese media that is creating this hatred which is completely not true, China media only report the "news" not propelling fear mongering like what the indian media is doing.

You will be surprise to find that Chinese opinion regarding to indians can be quite balance without any extreme hatred, some Chinese even enjoy some indian entertainment to some degree but then again that is minority part, you don't see Chinese parading around with anti indian rhetoric.
