@Vinod, no one can belittle any soldier who fought for his or her country. My awkward and somewhat low grade reply was to show that Internet warrior of some unidentified martial race that it is really hurtful to see how easily some people forget that their country Bangladesh exits because of the soldiers of Indian Army, the same army he is maligning.

What kind of a person would do that?

Oh I get it a few ungrateful and sad excuse for a human being would do that.

Fine, no boots and combat uniform. My reply was to a particular person, not to all Bangladeshis. If you seriously believe that the ill trained and ill equipped Mukti Bahini on it's own could have bring down more than 30,000 well trained and definitely well equipped Pakistani Army, then I don't think we have anything to discuss.

Pal, a few of your countrymen, often forget that or maybe pretend to forget that your Liberation War was won by regular Indian Army soldiers and Special Forces alongside with Muktis.

You cannot destroy tanks or sabers with small arms fire now do you?

A very enlightening article, but didn't understand a few things like what kind of military hardware Indian Army looted because if my memory serves me right, I recall that it was RAW and Indian Army that provided you every single bullet you fired during the war.

Second, after such a prolonged and intense war, ceiling fans and radios might be the only things that IA soldiers could have looted.

Third, what will the top brass will gain by letting soldiers loot even ceiling fans. They are not there to make soldiers happy or maybe there are remote chances that soldiers might get upset and revolt. Looks like Indian Army is more of a band of pirates who want the booty, come what may.

BTW, i liked the Slaves of Hindus" line, it's up to you to decide whether you are one or you beg to differ from the Pakistani gentleman who wrote the article. And I don't think you are a part of Akhand Bharat. Man, Indian Army commanders and RAW must have lost their heads for not capturing the nascent Bangladesh and making it a part of Akhand Bharat. Shame ON them, now Bangladesh is so big of a power and can annhilate the entire army with a single blow.

Your Indian army did nothing... they just came during the last 13 days and the surrender happens due to the fact that bengali liberation fighters made pakistani army exhausted ...

Still there are lots of funs about Indian army of 71 that I have heard from many peoples... that big sized pakistani soldiers were handed to skinny and short Indian army......

Whatever the matter this pakistani soldier would have surrendered to Bangladeshi forces long ago but they were fearing vengeance... and revenge and so they decided to surrender to Indian army thinking it would be safe but even Indian army was not sure that they would be able to protect them...

If this sort of biased and false history is thought in Indian text book and it keeps you diluted then no body will stop you to remain diluted that without India bangladesh would not get independence and it is India who have gave Bangladesh independence where as it is the Bangladeshi freedom fighters those who have achieved it...

Just look at yemen and algeria ... how they kicked the butt of england and france without outside help and got their independence .... n pakistan at 1971 was no where near to the France or England.... n with or without Indian involvement Bangladesh would have got independence... Indian involvement made the war much worse and caused a heavy damage to bangladesh and move bangladesh backword where as up to 1970 bangladesh had higher per capita gdp then both India and China...

I think if shaikh mujibor rahman would have asked UNs involvement to get independence as Bhutto was not handing over power it would put pakistan in a difficult situation... only it would have 2 option handing over power or accept independence of Bangladesh... n all this bloodshed would have been avoided. I think India was provoking him to go for direct clash which he could avoid by being wise...

But even after all these bigotry of bhutto and yahya khan made the think worse... where as majority of the west pakistanis were ready to accept independent bangladesh after the election .....

This is for the bharatis ... just watch this international news and correct your history book that India had give independence of Bangladesh with the 93000 army... even though with or without them it would have been achieved... pakistani army could have fought only another 30 days....
