Pakistan never attacked "East Pakistan" in 1971, it was all about "operation searchlights" and scare tactics and locking East Pakistani leaders up. And the people of West Pakistan were against the war once it got to know about the horrors of the East Pakistan, and then too it wasn't the majority, or else you would have seen an apology at least.

Its a fact that Indian Army intervened and saved a lot of innocent lives who would have been killed otherwise. If you can't appreciate our help at least don't diss us.

US tried to help pakistan during the war .... if shaikh mujib would asked about UN intervention after the election when yahya was not handling power it could make a difference as pakistan could not say anything in return why they are not handling over power... the other outcome was separation...

In bharain people are not asking for independence... but still it has not got momentum like the egypt or tunisia... in both cases us had to go with the public opinion... in the case of bharain they are under lots of pressure... if the protesters of bharain got more momentum then US will be forced to go along with them...
