What is tought to Indians is that it was not the Mukti Bahini who got independence for Bangladesh, and it was not Indian Armed forces. It was the Mitro-Bahini who fought the Pakistani Armed forces.

PA surrendered in front of IA because IA was a recognised international body in front of whom surrender could be done. Simple.

Yeah if we hadn't blockaded the sea route from West to East Pakistan, and banned over land flights, your Mukti Bahini would have vapourized in a matter of days. Pakistan army didn't loose because they were less skilled or less "brave" than your mukti bahini supermen. It lost just cause of logistics and lack of replenishment.

Listen US provided training to the afghan mujaheeds but it was certain that militarily US would not be able to defeat soviet union... if would be the case then US would defeat Soviet long ago... same also the case with India... India provided assistance it is true but it made thing worse... and caused lots of bloodshed... shaikh mujib should have gone to UN with either of the 2 demand ... give power or accept independent bangladesh then all thse bloodshed would not occurred... n India was involved here only cause of its strategic reason n to promote its agenda not for love and affection of Bangladeshi people...

N pakistan would be financially broke sooner or later due to war in bangladesh ... war only continued as bhutto and yahya khan was fedding false news that they are winning the war where majority of the west pakistani were for separate bangladesh.... I think it is india who has provoked shaikh mujib to go for this confirtation and as I said earlier bigotry of bhutto and yahya khan made think worse....

Even people of yamen and algeria kicked out british and french .... without foreign assistance ... so why do you think bangladesh would not be able to oust pakistany army!!! just for you false text book history that India liberated bangladesh...

If India provided assistance ... just remain within that boundary... India has not done anything more then that.... but did all these with certain agenda to make bangladesh a vessel state of India....that people have realized within 10 years of independence...
