Honestly I can not say for certain... but my grand father is from a renowned family and were leader (sardar) in bangsal now old dhaka... so it may not be... but whether it is or it is not .. that does not a matter... as in Islam there are no race, color ot superiority... and every one is equal... n it does not divide people in to classes... but it is unfortunate that hindu converts kept this classes even after conversion to Islam in bengal region.

Regarding your point about classes and differences, yes they exist and unfortunately will exist for some time. But the gap is closing very fast.

And above all, we don't gas and bomb each other like Shias and Sunnis. Well, I guess, classes exists in Islam too, with huge differences and are blood thirsty for each other.

I talked about it a lot... they teach their version of the story only... skipping many other part... I asked the bharatis to ask one question whether they believe they would be able to control east pakistan with more then 70 million people even without involvement of India...

Without Indian involvement it would take 1 or 2 more years to liberate at best... n yahya khan would not be able to continue for long as public opinion was gainst it and continuing prolonged war is costly which pakistan could not afford to continue for long...

Its quite easy to say that it would have take 2 years more or so but have you ever thought of the cost you would have paid for that delay.

Shia sunni is hardly due to religious difference but mainly due to political difference of early islamic years... n majority of the fighting are flamed by the whabi teachings and in some cases by extreme shias... but in islam it is forbidden to divide muslims in to groups and cast...

Jews, Christians, Pagans and several other tribes all used to live their peacefully side by side.

where women were given proper rights and were allowed to live without fear with good developments in the field of science and technology.
and look at the same Arabia today. what those sand-apes have turned it into.
no minority can worship and preach their religion freely without fear.
women and minorities have been reduced and oppressed like animals.
extremists everywhere ready to kill unbelievers.

its amazing and disheartening to see how once tolerant and beautiful Arabia has been converted totally into a jungle where there is no civilization no science no technology.

I don't think the origin of differences matter much more than the fact they fought each other vigorously and still doing it unlike Hindus because despite the differences we fought for each other and are still doing it.

But the Bangladeshis who u think as Muslim are not Muslims...They r converted...

I would like to know that one too. Because I live in a city with more than 30% INDIAN MUSLIMS, meet them nearly every evening to sip some tea at Farid Bhai's shop and have some smoke. If force me to convert and if they succeeded, I will like to know that I belong to the real sect.

Hell, Iranis are pretty powerful in my city, DILEMMA.

Wearing burqa/ covering full body in front of not relative man is the rule of islam is not only in bangladesh or in any muslim country but to follow in every where any muslim woman goes . thanks for your interest

Excuse me... who told you all these utter rubbish... Islam allowed all the religion jews and christianity, Zoroastrian to practise their religion... which was not even permitted in euorope... just look at the conquest of syria and egypt.. how the local christian people helped muslims to over throw the corrupt Byzantine roman empire where the used to percicute even other sect of christianity...

It is cause of the tolerance of Islam all the religious sites of christianity and judaism is still intact... even after crusade... n still even after crusade muslim let the christian people practice their religion... muslim, jews and christian lived side by side...peacefully for centuries until the 1st world war where british destroyed all the peace and harmony...

N islam has given the woman all the right that earlier then islam which was not there... where female child used to be buried alive.. the way hindus used to burn the wife when their husband used to be died... islam gave woman right to own property which was not there before... n prophet mohammad always encouraged woman for studying...

Even after all the restrictions in saudi womans are much more well educated in science and tech now a days... 270000 saudi goes abroad each year abroad mostly to read better subjects...

In iran 70% of the science and engineering students are female..

In bangladesh female are more then male in school...

Have you gone to middle east and do you have any idea let alone worshiping how many christian preaching radio or television channel were there...

Only in saudi preaching is restricted due to the hard core law of wahabbism ... but they are becoming more open now...

Just go n check last 5 to 10 year trend... all middle eastern countries are investing billions for new university ... science and tech... saudi will stublish 125 new modern uni if I am not wrong... Iran alone is produing around more then 200K engineers alone and has research paper publishing rate 11 times then the world average...
