Best type of Mangoes

I don't know why orange is fav juice drink of westerners .you find it in all stores and orange flavor is there even in biscuit, yogurt , ice creams but mango juice you only get in Asian food stores

Last year Pakistan exported mango to S Korea by sea. Does anyone know how they were preserved and packed for shipment?

Generally mangoes are plucked semi raw and packed in straw . Within few days to few weeks depending upon the stage they were plucked in they become ripe .

@Topic Chaunsa, Sindhri are the best of bests for me & probably one who ever eats them will know why they are the King of Mangoes, the size, the color, the smell & the weight is unbeatable. Anwar Retol is excellent too & is second only to Chaunsa & Sindhri.

I believe there is a food-grade chemical spray with a special machine. Otherwise it couldn't last 3 months which is the minimum time from plucking to eating. But the details I do not know.

well Alphonso mangoes are best in taste.......and luckly right now I am in Ratnagiri, maharshtra and believe me its alphonso hub!!!...lols

See , the thing is whether its Alphonso , Chaunsa , malda , Landga , Sindhri or any other , Most of them are grown throughout the subcontinent . What i feel is there is a place , an environment , soil type etc for every species which will make it better than average . Like Ratnagiri Alphonsos , Rahim Yar Khan/Multani Chausa , UP's Anwar ritol and Bangladeshi langdas .

And the matter has been settled by the OP

That is what i said as well . Any mango can be grown anywhere but only in few places it will be above average depending on a lot of factors .
