See , the thing is whether its Alphonso , Chaunsa , malda , Landga , Sindhri or any other , Most of them are grown throughout the subcontinent . What i feel is there is a place , an environment , soil type etc for every species which will make it better than average . Like Ratnagiri Alphonsos , Rahim Yar Khan/Multani Chausa , UP's Anwar ritol and Bangladeshi langdas .

And the matter has been settled by the OP

Actually I was impressed for a non-Muslim to be familiar with Surat al Bakara and Surat al Kafiroon (incidentally my favorite Surah too)
