Best Combination of Sukhoi Su 30MK2 & J 10B For BAF

It's a nice choice by Bangladesh air force.I think Bangladesh at least need 40 j-10s but they don't have funds right now.this deal for j-10 will create unrest among Indian circles. India wanted to sell tejas but Bangladesh has changed it's policy now. Bangladesh is interested in Chinese weapons rather than Indian weapons.this is a big change.

. .
Who does Bangladesh needs protection from with these planes? There's only India with they have a defence agreement with and if by any chance Indians intended to invade they would do so easily since bangla is surrounded by all sides. Plus they ll come up with something similar to mukti bahini to manipulate the masses. So what's the point.

.
I was thinking that Bangladesh might select indian tejas rather than this Chinese fighter. There is a growing pressure on Bangladesh from the Indian side.after submarine sale news,India called it matter of concern.this is definitely not good for India bangla relations.

:D :D Stop making fool out of yours..

MM Alam died in Karachi and has remained a Pakistani till he died not a bengali. So you are telling me that you helped us in 1965 war? If this is so why Bangladesh can't confront Myanmar? and needs to become India's b--ch?? Since 1971 Pakistan and Bangladesh separated and we Pakistan is the 6th biggest nuclear power and will become the third biggest and most powerful nuclear power in 2025 where is Bangladesh in here? :D :D :D

Pakistan military is among the most powerful militaries in the world today and where is Bangladeshi military in the hands of India?? You cannot stand alone anywhere and telling me that you helped us in 1965 war? You country cannot produce a rifle on its own and you are making fool out of yourself? :D :D :D

Your navy don't have a single submarine yet. Your fighter jets are garbage. Your pilots cannot combat any fighter jet in modern warfare.

Don't let me start, I will expose your garbage military right away.

Bangladesh helped us in 1965.we were one country in 1965.soldiers died while defending Lahore.there was a Bengal regiment deployed there in Lahore.east Pakistan and west Pakistan saves the country in 1965.They were the best soldiers and they died while defending Pakistan.we should forget past and move on.remember Bangladesh people are Muslims just like us.whatever they did in 65 was remarkable. We should help Bangladesh by providing them weapons and anything else they want.

They are buying it for Myanmar

Its not only the guns which guarantee sovereignty but a lot of other factors.
Compared to India BD army may be weaker but for a country of our size our military is fairly big.

.
Producing a rifle tells that the country is capable to produce something to fight because a country cannot depend on other countries equipment for a long time specially for a country like bangladesh with a low defense budget.

Big military doesn't mean that military is powerful because North Korea and Vietnam militaries are also big but are not that much powerful.

We have to cut our coat according to our cloth. We are trying to go indigenous in frigates and ships now. Others are coming gradually.

Best of luck for that, I hope your PM understands it too

First off I will agree MM Alam since he pledged his allegiance to Pakistan throughout his life should be considered Pakistani... what about saiful though? Tell me he is Pakistani? Lmao your logic

Read about how close India was to Lahore in 65... how Bengali regiment soldiers strapped mines in a kamakaze style attack on Indian tanks to stop their advance... there are many bengalis who won gallantry medals for their contributions in pak war of 65... and no officer in Pakistan can deny our contributions to your victory in certain battles that would have otherwise been dark days for Pakistan...
As for confronting Myanmar we did... they bought in their war ship as show of force in our territory we sent our and chased them back in their waters... we mortared em numerous times after deliberate aggressions... but we are peace loving nation... we don't war mOnger like talibans of your country so chill

Third most powerful nuclear power? Lmao rofl... Russia had Thebes's most followed by USA so you're saying y'all will have more than China? Cmon don't make fun of yourself.
Btw show your nuclear fury balls to India. Not us... we have always had stance against nuclear weapons... Japan is a much richer and technologically advanced country than y'all. And has more radioactive material reserve than other countries, weapons grade. If they wanted they could make bombs within 6 months but they chose rather not to...

Talking about most powerful militaries... I won't go into a d*** measuring contest with you but your mighty supa powa army surrendered to a bunch of Indians and pesky little skinny bengalis... so I don't see how your d*** swinging helps in this debate!

We got 2 subs... we were lacking behind in Air Force and now we are strengthening. Saiful Azam our countryman is with more shutdowns of Israeli pilots than any other man in history and served in a record 4 Air Force while earnin gallantry in 3 for his service... MM Alam Pakistani dude was born in bengal...

Why invite our 1st para commando battalion to train with your SSG in Pakistan then?

PS. Our naval commandos sank most of your cargo/ supply ships in Chittagong and destroyed your transport routes and cut off resources in operation jackpot!

Bengalis may appear small and skinny but don't underestimate the underdog!

Will India Train the BD pilots , like it did for other countries ?
It has agreements with Vietnam and malaysia already.

Yes after 8 months of intensive fighting traitors were not even able to grasp a full district, isn't it.Ah surrender 0.7 million men against 45000 regulars and 35000 regulars, you and your Indian masters are true brave guys on earth.
Why invite our 1st para commando battalion to train with your SSG in Pakistan then?
When did that happened?

Your navel commandos, you know kid you guys are just joke @Nilgiri ri please shed some light on might operation of Pak Army deserters who under oath of holy book betrayed there nation,be advised you may be next.

I won't ask the usual "Why does BD need these many aircrafts!"
But it's indeed more than enough fighters for BD, and that too high quality fighters.

In a sense, it's good.
No need to think about procurement for decades to come. Just upgrades.
No need to worry about availability rates.

But will they end up being white elephants?
Hopefully not.

Now fire up those sweatshops to be the centre of fighter spares production.

.
Why do you think we wont have significant numbers? If we order the planes in the next couple of years, they will arrive sometime between 2019-2021 and we will pay for them over 10-15 years.

Bangladesh has a economy over $245bn now, and we spend less then 1.6% of our GDP on defence. Because of this we end up using the bulk of it on salaries and maintenence leaving little on capital. By 2030 (13 years time) our GDP will have grown to at least $693bn and even if we maintain a low 1.6% defence budget, that will be over $11bn....more then enough for several squadrons of each. Don't look at the BAF based on the past buying pattern, look at its purchasing capacity in the next decade and half.

Should we buy 32 Su's (in batches of 8) over 10-15 years, would mean repayments of less then $150m over the next 15 years.

Figure seems not correct but best of luck
