Ami khanti ghoti. But I have no shame in accepting that Bangals are indeed much more successful than the Ghotis. Almost all the prominent authors,academics have their root in Bangladesh. Janina bhai, o desher jole, howae kii jadu ache, jaa edike nai

Amader ekhaneo eek ii obostha. No single good author are coming up. Possible reason may be the class or standard set by the old authors are so high that new comers can not just match it. By the way, just finished reading Jono aronyo and Seemaboddho by Shankar. You can read it if you have not read already. Classic masterpiece and later Satyajit Ray made two movies on these two.
