when the pandemic is over, buy yourself the air ticket and make a fly to China. The hotel could be booked via airbnb or ctrip.com, quite easy. Language wise, at least the young-generation could speak (some) English, also not a big issue. Safety wise, China is the safest place on the earth, no problem to even a lady who walks alone 2am on the street.

You can visit almost every part of China, rich or poor, urban or rural, developed or less developed, as long as you have the time and money.

One just needs to learn like 6 chinese basic words and some chinese numerics to get by as foreigner, regardless ,a baidu translation app or microsoft translator( yes surprisingly it works in china) was more than enough for tourist or students .
And of course china is safe,there are no south asian,african,westerners as major population.

Reminds me of that case when another U.S. state propaganda mouthpiece reported some vocal vlogger falsly to a Canadian court for tresspassing then made a huge article claiming hes defending China but is now under investigation by a Canadian court to suggest hes some kind of spy or acting illegally for China, even when the court never actually bothered about the report the second they looked at it because the report was simply a false and not something that was forbidden in first place, all just to discredit him because hes been exposing what he sees in China that contradicts U.S. state propagaganda lies and smearing about China.
