It have never been China's foreign policy to establish exclusive friendships with other countries. China neither have the will nor the desire to dictate other countries foreign polices. China wants to have a friendly relationship with Vietnam also at the same time it doesn't matter if Vietnam have good relationship with other countries(including USA). China doesn't play with these cold war zero sum games and it does have a mind set like "you either with us or against us"

China is becoming more expensive, look at their GDP per capita. Vietnam is cheaper (they will become more expensive in a few years, continuing the cycle). I think you as a Vietnamese should be happy that China outsources some jobs to you, as you're their neighbour, and it should be awesome to have a big, rich neighbour sharing wealth with you and investing in your country. In the end, China wants friendly neighbours, and will act accordingly. They have lots to gain from having a wealthy, stable neighbourhood. Don't think the US has that in mind for you, they only want to create a hostile region around China. So take your head out of your arse, and start seeing things for how they are. You're destined to be allies.
