I am looking for new baby names "Muslim names" preferably from Quran. I had created a similar thread in 2013 and those days the name "Hashir" was selected but the following short-list from the previous thread helped choose another name "Ayaan" for another baby in the relatives.

I hate that naming convention... why people do that, it robs kids of their individuality.. older relatives cant be bothered to remember exact name, call you by your brother's name, its annoying.

But it doesn't matter as we are open to all the names

Father's name is "Sami" but you will not find many names with ideal matching name with father. It doesn't matter as long as the name is good...
