They are all natives of Gaibandha Sadar Upazila's Nandina and Chok Gayeshpur villages and were active members of the Jamaat-e-Islami.

They later enlisted in the Razakar force and collaborated with the Pakistan Army during the war.

The charges against them in the case ranged from kidnapping, torture, looting, arson to murder.

According to the judgment, they have been found guilty of four charges, each carrying the death penalty.

The war crimes tribunal has so far tried 40 cases and convicted 102 people. Of them, 98 people have been convicted while 67 received capital punishment.

BD has a weird definition of war crimes. What about the war crimes of Mukti Bahini?
My own grand dad was shot by these savages while he was in his house doing nothing bad . Just because he didn't speak Bengali.
And there were tens of thousands of similar cases.
Was that not a war crime?

Victors dictate trails and history .

on the bright side this is good for future pak bangla relation. why ? because every time a govt in Dhaka/ Islamabad tried to improve relationship with the other, the pro Indian secular fools of BD play the 71' card to prevent this. When all the war criminals are hanged they will lose this and in the future, the relationship between the 2 countries will improve.

Those savages were xenophobes, they didn't fight in a righteous manner.

Sure, continuing the killing spree started by Mukti Bahini will sure improve relations.

BD is by the Mushrikin, of the Mushrikin, for the Mushrikin...

If you say anything against India or the present regime in BD, you are lynched to death RSS style by BD Hindus and their Murted cohorts....

Two Nation Theory is taking revenge on BD and Indian Muslims....

Every cent Pak spends, and every drop of blood and sweat Pak sheds for her defense are Masum and Helal like mother’s milk....

LOL that was a civil war, each side has strong reason to make war with other side. Bangladesh should instead forgive those Bangladeshi who was in the side of Pakistani.

It is like we Indonesian punish any Aceh rebel leader who have killed any of Indonesian soldiers during Aceh war. The fact that the war has ended and we become brother again.

Hanging is also a very sadistic kind of punishment. If you want to kill somebody due to any mistake he has made, it should be done by slaughtering by sword, which is proven to be the quickest way to kill some body.
