LOL they need assistant coz formidable class is multi-mission derivatives of the French navy's La feyette class frigate.. they're licensed built by SG and DCNS.. how come a licensed one can be built without original company assistance.. Yes.. they can reverse-engineering but it will take time.. even they can afford a license to built, co-operate building them is more easier way...Even Singapore enginneers required assistance for their Formidable-class frigates...
that's all depend on What they need , how much they can spend and how much it take time..You came up with theories like burmese engineers went to Russia for their Ph.D in ship building and when they came back they build a steath frigate.Singapore has more engineers holding Ph.D in in every areas compared to myanmar does that mean they build a ship with steath capabilities with out foreign assistance?
SG - infinite money , want it fast then seek a frigate which meet what they need and licensed built... i dont say they cant build own one.. but it take time.. result = 6 frigates within 3 years...... (2004 -2006)
Myanmar- limited budget plus sanction but luckily we have technicians to build.. then we choose to build own one.. reuslt - just 3 frigates in 5 years... that's difference..
Why dont u ask them..? hay u can asked even in Bangali.. they will tell uFirst give me the evidence that those frigate of yours have stealth features lol.
