The movie is crap but its already a big hit.

Grossed 170 crore just within 5 days,not to forget them money SRK will make through satellite rights and cross promotion's.
This movie is going to set one big record in the history of Indian cinema in terms of revenue.

you are right..a bad movie with good stunt scenes.

Movie is hit when it earns Double or triple of its investment

In all it crossed over 350 crores in revenues. Eros entertainment said the movie crossed 221 crores in all revenues plus the satellite, music and advertising rights got them additional 132 crores even before movie was released. That's over $70 million dollars, not bad for an indian movie. By 2015 these bollywood star movies would be grossing over $100 million. That would be awesome.

Eros International Media Limited's Ra.One has grossed unprecedented box office collection of Rs.221 crores worldwide. The film produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Winford Productions released across theatres worldwide on October 26, 2011.

Ra.One opened across more than 4000 plus screens worldwide (3100 plus screens in India and 904 prints internationally, including 3D, Tamil and Telugu). The 3D version of the film is also enjoying a very good response.

Since its release, Ra.One has broken several records including the biggest Diwali day opening followed by the biggest single day collections for an Indian film and the biggest ever weekend release for both India and overseas box office.

The Eros International Media Ltd stock closed the day at Rs.265.05, down by Rs.3.50 or 1.30%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.270.95 and low of Rs.263.35.

The total traded quantity was 0.89 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.86 lakhs.

Story might be rubbish but the film is certainly setting new standards for Bollywood. Like the YT vid said the path the film has taken is unique and a new goal post for Bollywood- even saw RA.One posters on the front noses of the Force India FI Cars last weekend!
