Can someone tell me how this new rule will discourage the imports of cars and electronic goods? The importers will pay 100% to the banks when they open L/Cs and import the items as usual if there are demands.

Indian ministers always rode their Ambassador cars before. I do not know what cars they ride now, but certainly, they ride Indian cars without feeling shame.
