Bashir (Sudan): A military base on the Red Sea, SU-35, SU-30 and S-300

Here is the true reality of current Moslem suffering and losses everywhere

Moslem Sudan to assist Ethiopia against Egypt - if its true but reading the article comes across as legitimate .
Got me really annoyed to read this .

It's spelled muslim.

It's spelled muslim.

What does Moslem mean? Moslem is an alternate spelling of Muslim. The words have the same meanings in all contexts, and both spellings have been in use for several centuries.

Moslem was the preferred spelling until the first half of the 20th century. Today, Muslim is the preferred spelling.

Hope it clears up any mis-understanding.

I seriously doubt we need to worry about the military might of these countries because unlike Israel they are pretty much completely handicapped, they have neither quality or quantity on their side. if the Egyptian army was mobilized both Sudan/South Sudan and Ethopia would get completely steam rolled in the march south. The only group that could possibly get in the way would be the U.N and I doubt president Trump would betray Egypt by not using veto in the Security Council especially since we are a incredibly valuable ally.
Nothing will be done until the effects of the dam are seen at the end of the day

Everyone already knows the effects. It's either Ethopia stops or Ethiopia gets hit with military force. Diplomatic talks have failed because Ethopia refuses to comply, the only action left is war.

Let's not speak about war...that easily... we ain't savage...
The dam will not stop...they need it...
So you need to see the consequences before acting...

If there is consequences...that are proven by neutral groups of scientist..then thing need to be done...first by political ways and if every word said had no effect THEN you can think about a military action...till then it' useless.

And Egypt can't wage a war with Ethiopia right now... she doesn't have the will ( with internal problems already) neither the money for that, if she's alone ofc...

What I can't understand is why the 3 parties (Egypt/sudan and Ethiopia didn't make a council who will administrate the dam, with in mind to check if the dam is fair and equal to all... with maybe under UN watch or smthing like that... since it's a matter of national security... for this tri-party...)

You cannot just bomb the dam out of the blue lol. We're not just going to 'stop' I'm afraid:what:. Dams do not have such a great effect.

Did you grow up in Egypt?

The dam will not stop...they need it...

Apparently we are not allowed to do anything with our rivers

Apparently we are not allowed to do anything with our rivers
Not if it endangers Hundreds of millions of people...
If the Dam put in jeopardy the downstream of the Nile...in Sudan and Egypt...then yes you can't do anything with it... ( you adapt to the situation of your environment...)
If it doesn't then it's ok...

One thing ppl should be reminded... you do not live on this earth alone... and if you were in their situation, you will have reacted the same...

War is the crucible of peace. It is sometimes necessary.

The dam will not stop...they need it.

They don't need it. It needs to go.

Of course we can and thanks to that Internal instability it will be quite the walk in the park.

You don't need a council for a dam that you're going to blow up. That's just a waste of resources.

You cannot just bomb the dam out of the blue lol.

Of course we can. I'm afraid that 1000s of your countrymen will die in the conflict that happens because of it.

Ethopia can cry and scream all she wants but at the end of the day when your watching that dam go up in flames you will have nothing to say.

In the end egypt will not bomb, the price will be big.

There is no price bigger than Egypt's own survival..Egypt will go all the way in negotiations.. it just needs some written assurances that the Dam won't affect its share of water.. so far it got verbal assurances!!! but that is not how countries relations work..

And we have said it won't.

I know you dislike Ethiopians, but who are you to say we don't need it? This dam isn't decoration, it provides us with something we need.

And we have said it won't.

Hitler said he was a good man... The US said Iraq war is needed and will be fast...same for Afghanistan... And Bp said no oil spill will occur...never ever...

Huge infrastructure as this dam... can't be 100% true in their environmental impacts... only when it's fully working... You words mean nothing till we see it's impact.

So here I ask you this simple Question... What if this dam will cut the downstream of the Nile for X reason and therefore dry fertile lands for Hundreds of millions of ppl?

Why wouldn't this be needed?

Dams can have both positive and negative impacts to rivers if they are not managed properly.

never I said it's not needed...
And you didn't answer my Q "What if this dam will cut the downstream of the Nile for X reason and therefore dry fertile lands for Hundreds of millions of ppl?"

You said in your other post that we need it...

It won't come to causing dry fertile lands, but if it does, we can manage the dam appropriately. The dam will make your ones less efficient too.

I've already read Egypt has problems currently with reduced flow of the Nile and dry fertile lands....
