Option 1: the a new nexus in South Asia *read Russia
Option 2: America can and may use limited unilateral strikes such as drone strikes and snatch and grabs, but these don't come with risk of escalations.

My opinion: I don't have the full facts I am waiting for additional information to come out from both Pindi/Islamabad and Washington before I make my own assessment.

That being said, the blame game on Pakistan seems to be the death rattle of an administration that knows it's mission in Afghanistan is FUBAR.

Shame our stupid civ gov didn't have the strategic foresight to leverage our past gains in CT to project our narrative on an international stage.
