Bangladesh wants to sign CEPA with India in a year

Its time for Bangladesh to build a concrete border wall. We cant continue having indians infiltrating into Bangladesh. I am against any trade deal with a fascist controlled Bharat.

A political fascist and narcissist govt comes and goes away at a time, but the country remains for a long time. We must think long term.

These people want to eleminate muslims. That is what we are dealing with. I am sorry to say this but that is the plain simple truth. Of course they cannot do it straightforward because they arent able to. But that is nevertheless their ultimate goal.

Even more worriying is the continued western support for this horrible regime, which is nothing less than a stab in the back against everyone who fought against fascism since WW2

BD is well established in the areas of electronics and pharmaceuticals.
HAHAHAHAHA Pfffff!

Okay, lets do this!

Bangladesh total size of Pharma industry and market (including domestic and exports) is EXPECTED TO become USD 6 billion dollar by 2025. (source : https://www.thedailystar.net/business/news/bangladesh-track-becoming-6b-pharma-market-2025-1995741). Its parma exports in 2020-2021 were USD 169 million (https://www.trade.gov/country-commercial-guides/bangladesh-healthcare-and-pharmaceuticals).

As a comparison, India's total pharma exports in 2019-20 alone were USD 20.5 billion (https://commerce.gov.in/about-us/divisions/export-products-division/export-products-pharmaceuticals/). I will not insult BD by even mentioning India's domestic pharma market size.

BD is NOWHERE near the scale and maturity of India in Pharma industry. Forget it.

Now coming to electronics. Lets first separate Electronics from Electricals. Refrigerator, Washing Machines etc are NOT electronics, they are electric home appliances and have a very small component of actual electronics. In the field of consumer electronics ie mobile phones, monitor, TV, computer, laptops etc, BD is doing what is called as line assembly and PCB manufacturing. Possibly some PCB design. It is not producing any major components like chips (at any node size) or LCDs at all to be called as an "established electronics".

For a comparison, India manufactures chips for all its defence and space program needs indigenously at SCL Chandighar. BD does not even have that. In terms of PCB manufacturing and assembly, India has many major brand manufacturing PCBs and final products. Many India OEMs are also manufacturing products around these PCB assembly lines.

In terms of total value of electronics goods exported, India exported USD 11 billion worth of electronic goods (https://economictimes.indiatimes.co...cember-2021/articleshow/89162213.cms?from=mdr) in first 3 quarters of 2021-2022.

BD exported some USD 12.22 million worth of electric and electronics goods combined (https://thefinancialexpress.com.bd/...late, refrigerator compressor and components,). BD though counts rice cooker as electronic goods. India only counts true electronics goods as electronics.

You do realize that its BD which is seeking FTA with India. Right now India exports about 7-8 billion dollars worth of goods to BD.

India itself is seeking FTA with UK, Australia, Canada and EU. Its negotiations with UK are more or less done. It has snatched a FTA with Australia. Canada will take some more time and EU even more.

This @UKBengali knows nothing. He likes to shoot blind.

@jamahir bhai what semiconductor chip does India make commercially? This guy is claiming that chips produced by maybe dozens or hundreds in batches for bespoke defence use makes India a semiconductor superpower.

Are there commercial FABs in India even? Nand/Nor DDR chip production? Maybe they don't teach this yet in Shakha textbooks....

Another newly hatched pujari come here to extoll the Mahaan Nature of Modi's bharat. This was discussed ad-infinitum back in the day. Indian govt. offered 1 Billion to chipmakers to come to India. Nobody gave a $hit. Read it and weep.

Enjoy : https://www.scl.gov.in/productsSCL.html

BTW, whats the fascination with this word "superpower". I have seen BD and PK ones utter it too often.

Also, let me know which ASIC, Processors or Digital or Analog semiconductors does BD fabricates?

Yes my dear, its called SCL Chandigarh. They mainly focus on defence and space application semiconductors. They have 0.18 micron process (180 nm). Its a government organisation.

Let me know what feature size fabrication process does BD have?

Yeah - all these friggin' hype and BS published in Swarajya Mag.....everyone in the world knows that India is a scammer headquarter. Chip making hub, maybe not so much....

"SCL is going to take off as a phenomenal commercial FAB better than TSMC and be turned around in a quantum leap of faith using a secret Phoren partner".....

Ten years go by and Phoren partner never comes.

I'd rather not waste time on this Godi media garbage during Ramadan. Walaikum Tafaat. No more posts from me.....

Pffft spoken and ran away like a real sore loser.

BTW, I am still waiting for your gargantuan list of BD semiconductor fabrication capabilities.

Though, all the crap you have written was neither said by me nor in my references. I wonder where you got it from.

I thought lying was prohibited in Ramadan but then Bilals tend be a bit err.... well lets leave it, its Ramadan.

Walaikum Whatever :)

.
Then why is BD seeking a FTA with India at all?

India is begging for an FTA with Bangladesh. We are India's third largest trading partner I believe - however I may be wrong.

Your street-$hitter govt. can't sell its garbage to anyone else....

Sitting in the West - you haven't realized it yet. But get it through your head.

Modi's Bharat is a 3rd world entity and sliding even farther backward. Bangladesh per capita GDP nominal is higher than India. India is officially poorer than us in Bangladesh. Capisch??

Singing "Bharat Mahaan" all day or making a few hundred custom chips a year in a lab won't make a difference.

Everyone knows it except some of your deluded lot.

*Ahem*
I kind of doubt that :
