I really have doubt, whether any Indian trucks would able to pass through the hostile BD ppls territory. BNP will surely turn it down, and AL is also delaying the execution process of transit like the previous period. So, i truly blv indians will get nothing from Bangladesh in the end.

I agree. India should be focusing on increasing trade with Bangladesh. However, this is business. If Chinese companies can offer you a better deal than Indian ones then you should go for it. "losing to China" - This line cracked me up. How can India lose Bangladesh's market to China? If Chinese companies can offer you a better deal, then you will obviously (actually hopefully) go for that. However if Indian companies can offer you a better deal that you would go for that. It's really as simple as that. If Bangladesh conducts business based on emotions... well then, good luck to you.

do not try to tell the bangladeshi when to protest and how to achieve demand if necessary... we did it in 1952, in 1969, in 1971 in 1990 and if necessary it will happen more when it is required regardless of any party support if the patriotic bangladeshis see anything against bangladesh is going on...

N do not forget egyptian protest was achieved only through internet protest... n due to the blessings of different social networking sites... as it is pointing out by gonjo that this deal is going no where ... even AL is slowing it down... It would be also better for India to get a win win deal instead of a win loose deal... n if bangladeshi people have to rise up on the street it will not be a blow to transit forever but also India will also loose one of its biggest exporting market...

Yah, someone have to lead the Bengali speaking ppl dude. That is us, the Independent Bengali ppl. How many year the loser bengali ppl in Indian side would be dependent on u? History repeats of Bengal getting smaller/greater. Guess in which way we the Bengal is heading.

show me where I said bangladesh will annex NE India ... what I said bd government should remain neutral in that case as bengalis at the assam are about to be majority with muslim majority and most of them has ancestor from present day bangladesh... so far they are silent but the way Indian radical hindu politicians are ranting against them they are just alienating them.. so in the future no can rule out the possibility that they will also claim separate assam like the majority of the people... as they will be majority ... so their opinion will play a big role there... N merging of assam to bangladesh will happen if it separate from India only if the people of assam wants... Bengali muslim majority with ancestor from bangladesh give a shining possibility for that... I also said even if this merger do not happen we should keep a very good brotherly relation with them...
