You just have this habit of putting words in mouth of others. Give some rest to your assumptions. You should have not even quote my posts because it was in response to a Bangladeshi poster and all i said was that If Bangladeshi really love taking dictations from India or love their influence in politics of Bangladesh then why got independence if they don't have this ability of making free decisions without taking dictation from India. We are talking about two independent countries here. I don't have any enmity towards Hindus as I have many Hindu friends . We Pakistani also realize that minorities are as integral part of our country as the Muslims. Islamic law too grants them all the protection of life and right of practising their religion without any kind of fear of oppression. Two nation theory had nothing to do with hating Hindus so please think before speaking
I apologise if I have misinterpreted/distorted what you were trying to say.
However you view Bangladesh-India relations through a certain prism, and it is a biased one (its true for everyone).
All I am really saying is that it is not the domain of Pakistan and Pakistanis to judge on India-Bangladesh relations.
Bengalis are a proud, independent and motivated people (no matter how many trolls are in this forum and how many Indian troll back/ bait them/flamewar with them ....incl me at points).
They will integrate with us in whatever way they decide as a nation...over a long protracted time period. Nothing is going to happen overnight or even a decade or so....both countries have much to grow first before we can do that.
They have their taste of what freedom is, they have kept their faith, they have established their language and culture again after suppression pre-71 and they look to the future now. Most of them know at heart that friendship with India is the only way to guarantee their progress. That friendship need not come at the expense of any basic sovereignty.
They just want to progress and develop their country more and more....who are we to judge how they go about doing it? Greater friendship and economic integration with India is definitely a surefire way for that. They know it, we know it.....apparently this angers small sections of their country and it rekindles memories within Pakistan about partition and Bangladesh liberation....and the convenient narrative becomes that India is simply a no good hegemonistic "Akhand Bharat" "Chanakya" seeker etc etc.
Yes there are always going to be ulterior motives towards Pakistan and what we see as Pakistani-type influence/connected proxies within Bangladesh.....but that doesnt distract away from the economic and political engagement and destinies of 100s of millions of people of the region who simply want a better life and better future for their children.
That's why Pakistan should quite frankly mind its own business when it comes to India - Bangladesh relations....otherwise you lot come off as quite desperate when you bring up such notions of Indian domination and Bangladeshi "meekness" and "acquiescence".
You really portray us well beyond what we are and at the same time diminish Bangladeshis well below what they truly are....so in the end we end up becoming even more united against you....and keep striving to keep the relationship mature and forward thinking with each other.
