Bangladesh to export unutilised bandwidth to 5 countries.

There should be a law to provide real IP only. Most of the households get shared IP that distorts true broadband user numbers. IIRC a recent survey said only 300k broadband users whereas it could easily be 3x the number if we are provided real IP. This year alone 15-20 of my friends got broadband connections for home wifi. But because the ISPs are cheap greedy bastards, only 3-4 real IPs might've neen registered.

in my Country unlimited internet home package with 20 mbps speed came with around 25 US Dollar prices per month (had included TV Cable network). You can get 200 mbps with around 150 US dollar fee permonth unlimited....

I have Verizon Fiber to the home in the US, upload and download speeds are up to 500/500 Mbps and I pay about $70 a month for TV and Internet. Internet access in Bangladesh is relatively quite expensive for the bandwidth offered.

First BD has to take care of its own country men and improve their network speeds before exporting it. IF the speeds are improved and net subscriptions are made affordable then you will attract more domestic users. With smartphones available at such cheap prices everyone who own one will be accessing the network in future. Already in US, government is giving away for free to low income households those old 3G smartphones which have become obsolete.India and BD should do the same to its people if they can be purchased for low prices. Mobile phones are game changers in improving the productivity of any nation.
