Bangladeshis bothered more towards their social issues than Pakistan. Feudalism & serfdom are still constitutionally legal in Pakistan whereas Bangladesh got rid of it long back creating environment for better future. on top of that as was mentioned before Pakistan is an ethnically diverse multi-ethnic country but Bangladesh like japan is homogeneous and pretty much consist of one group ethnic bengalis so automatically they are void of all the ethnic/language issues pakistan/india and even sri-lanka have to deal with which is often a big part of the issue.On top of that pakistan hosts the largest refugee population on the planet(afghans) with some reports citing they numbered 7 million at their peak BD won't even look after a couple of hundred thousand burma refugees.

Bangladesh was lucky:

1. No Afghanistan in our side where USA+Saudi+Pakistan Army indoctrinated young refugees with extremist ideologies to contain Soviet Union
2. Bangladesh Army was too small compared to Pakistan Army, so their control of Bangladesh politics ended in 1991, after fall of Ershad

But, the biggest problem we have compared to Pakistan is that we are under proxy control of India, using RAWamy League. Until and unless we get rid of this proxy control, Pakistan has better potential than Bangladesh.

lol we bangladeshis don't need secularism. Religious bonds transcends man-made boundaries and united India is a proof of
hindu brotherhood. We have tons of W.bengalis here on PDF and we all know how they view the concept united BD. Secular united
bengal is a myth and our former leaders like AK Fazlul Haq understood that and put forward the lahore resolution. It was
