I probably should have included you as an Indian lover also ..... India may surround us on three sides but we also can potentially lock-in a large portion of their land to the East.

You still having the same old wet dream Munshi? Bangladesh can't lock-in shyte.

You guys are minuscule, both militarily and diplomatically, compared to India. India won't even have to fire a bullet to destroy Bangladesh, just open up the sluice gates at Farakka during the monsoon season and half your country will be floating in the Bay of Bengal.

Hopefully we won't do the same mistake again and stop the Tipaimukh dam from being built :undecided:

Let me tell you that India is under no obligation(legal or otherwise) to pay heed to Bangladeshi concerns regarding Tipaimukh. All this joint talks, investigation and proposal for partnership is purely out of good will as we don't want a repeat of the bad blood that Farakka caused.

Look at China for example, do you think it gives two shytes about lower riparian countries like India and Bangladesh when it comes to building dams on the Brahmputra? Yes they ll share information about water flow and all that stuff, but do you think they ll stop building the dams because India and Bangladesh complained? No they won't. Everyone looks out for their own interests.

India has been too benign when it comes to sharing water, be it Bangladesh or Pakistan. You should look at what Mexico gets from the USA and compare it with India and see how considerate India has been so far. And mind you, that too when per capita fresh water availability in Bangladesh is much higher than it is India.

Ongoing diplomatic game between two neighboring countries. Right way to go instead of threatening to invade Delhi. We have to understand our advantages and should have a strong govt who can use those to do what's best for us; that too bearing in mind that the outcome shouldn't be unfair to India also. Now lets wait for a mutual agreement so that both of us can be equal winners.

Can any Bangladeshi nationalist please explain the wider context of this move by the Bangladeshi government?
@eastwatch @iajdani @CaPtAiN_pLaNeT @madx @Moander @asad71

India hasn't been as helpful as awami league had expected in this term. From Tista to Tipaimukhi Dam on various issue India has blundered which cause awami league to suffer from negative image. Along with other failure especially padma bridge fiasco, the government is desperate for some good news. On the last year of the term awami league doesn't want any trouble especially from its so called ally India. So, its a signal for India from awami league is stop doing hunky funky or else.

It seems some one need to learn about geography and hydrology. Destroy Bangladesh by flooding what a joke.

Are you seriously supposed to represent some kind of defence institution of BD with ret*rded thinking like that? I would like you to try and invade us (our so called North East lands which you are referring to), it will not be a pretty site for you BDeshis...

animelive already made clear he support indian killing of Bangladeshis. animelivealso supports indian and awami cause to undermine Bangladesh independence. He is one of those D*h*o*t*i wearing indian dalal lived on Bangladeshi dime but build bank account and property in india to settle there. His view to serve indian cause and complete and utter disgrace for Bangladesh and Bangladeshis.

Who has "threaten to invade delhi"?
If Delhi's interest is your concern then rest goes without saying whom you represent.
Don't talk garbage using Bangladeshi flag.
