It‘s true unfortunately and there are many Shiites believing in the distortion of the Quran. The „real“ Quran is more in the favor of the Ahl-e-Bayt. They will say that they don’t have all of this in their Sahih (!) narrations, but facts don’t care about feel-good-slogans.

Just google Mullah Baqir Majlisi and you will finde some funny stuff about how Shiites love the Sahaba and how the imams are infallible and in control of all things.

Fun fact: Ali (ra) somehow didn’t know anything about his superpowers and was cool with the fact that Abu Bakr (ra) stole his caliphate...

just like some Sunnis worship graves and peer faqirs same way there are misguided Shias who do what you said. If you listen to some worthy Shia Alims they are also worried about this menace in their sect. I do believe that the number is misquided Shias is increasing due to ill-educated Zakirs. Should listen to Agha Syed Jawad Naqvi, an honest Shia scholar in Pakistan.

Shia has no authority except for their handful of supporters, you do know that compared to Sunni's Shia's are very less in numbers and within their own sect there are many subdivisions ? even if Tehran acknowledge this one Shia scholar stance, there is no way the world will accept universally that a Quran which is edited, you can take a quran edit and print it in India but that would be a dumb idea because Quran is memorized by Millions of people by heart, forget it dude there is no power on earth which exists or will exists that can change a single dot or line or word from the Quran, many tried people far better qualified than those idiot Hindu's and Indians and failed.
