thanks for good wishes . It is my dream that in south Asia people would be prosperous (like Asean, EU etc )one day . Every region has shown growth collectively in the past and vice versa .With a stabilising Pakistan and investments from China, Pakistan is sure to enjoy growth rates like BD soon.
New Recruit
Bangladesh GDP and per capita income is rising very fast year on year. Think where we could be if not for so much political strife following independence. Many years were wasted which could have been used to develop earlier. Still, better late than never.
New Recruit
I think I was being a tad optimistic here but 2025 is plausible.^ Yes, I think we can achieve middle-income country status in some ways by even as early as 2020.
New Recruit
Firstly, Bangladesh GDP is around $200mn now and secondly, India's population is 1.5bn, 10 times that of Bangladesh's 150mn, so of course India will be a much bigger economy in total output. So we must look at GDP/income per capita to get a fairer assessment.lol Bombay has a bigger economy than their whole country.

Nope....Lol BD is at 200 billion.
No way does Mumbai have over 200 billion nominal. Maybe in PPP though. Otherwise Mumbai would look similar to Kuala Lumpur.
