Bangladesh overtakes Pakistan in attracting foreign investors

oh my god. we are back here again. you got amnesia or something? i already stated everything in detail earlier. immediate benefit from Pakistan and Bangladesh having normal relations are more exports and cheaper imports, for both nations. long term both can help each other diplomatically. no other bunch of muslims views India as a threat other Pakistan and Bangladesh. some in Pakistan are traitors and want to normalise relations with India, and even more people in Bangladesh want the same thing. but there are still many Bangladeshis' who see understand India is a present and growing threat, so who better for Bangladesh to have as an ally against India other Pakistan? same for Pakistan. China is not reliable as partner forever because China and India might be enemies today, but things can change tomorrow.

you think China is going to end ties with India for Islam or Pakistan? what about Turkey? obviously not, so why apply such stupid standards on Bangladesh? see, again you are trying to apply al wala wal bara, but you are not applying it on Pakistan and other muslim countries. the only one you are trying to apply it on is Bangladesh. here is where i am calling out your academic dishonesty.

Do you honestly believe that the above is going to happen?............China split open the skulls of at least 20 indian soldiers and splattered their brain matter all over the Galway Valley in June 2020. I don't see the bangladeshis EVER doing that. What about the other 200 or so nations Pakistan can boost it's imports/exports with?

Because of it's small size and being located within indian territory, bangladesh can NEVER afford to antagonise india or have poor relations with it. Especially not for Pakistan.

did you see Pakistan and Russia becoming friendly after what we did to them in Afghanistan? did you see Pakistan and Iran improving relations when Iran and India have always been so friendly? geopolitics isnt a fixed thing, its shifts and things change. today China and India might be enemies, but if it gets resolved, then why would China not pick India over Pakistan? India has a bigger economy and more resources than we do. China doesnt need us to gain access to Central Asia. China is our friend as long as they need us, not as long as we need them.

What about the other 200 or so nations Pakistan can boost it's imports/exports with?

let it 20,000 nations, each one is a potential trade partner. Pakistan can increase its exports by selling to Bangladesh, and reduce import costs by buying from Bangladesh. same way if Pakistan can get oil cheaper from Azerbaijan instead of Saudi, then we should do that.

Because of it's small size and being located within indian territory, bangladesh can NEVER afford to antagonise india or have poor relations with it. Especially not for Pakistan.

geopolitical situations change. the population of muslims in west bengal and North East India is increasing. very likely there will be secession in the future and they will join up with Bangladesh. if Bangladesh has Pakistan, China, Turkey and others as allies, that strengthens Bangladesh's geopolitical and military position and weakens India in the long run, all of which is good for Pakistan. if we cant beat India head on, then we must adopt a strategy of killing them with a thousand cuts. do to India what they do to us. they fund TTP, BLA and everyone else, so we should ally with other nations that want a piece of India. Bangladesh will be in a position where their territory will increase in the future, Nepal has border disputes with India, and so does China. we are allied with China, and makes sense to also ally with Nepal.

This is a very interesting thread thanks to @PakistaniAtBahrain

You have alot of patience man, I applaud you.

I agree with the sentiment that Bangladesh and Pakistan are natural allies though the present state of affairs says otherwise.

As for the ordinary Bengali, again see where their allegiances lay when Pakistan and India play cricket.

@PAKISTANFOREVER Lol. At least be consistent with your rationale.

You are cherry picking to suit your arguements.

Regardless, for the sake of Pakistan, you CANNNOT only rely on China.

To say that is foolish is the epitome of understatement.

You are more likely to rely on someone who has invested billions in your country than someone who you don't gave a tangible relationship with.

Bottom line is, does bangladesh really want to confrony india? They are allies not enemies. What incentive do they have to make india an enemy?

Watching what our govt does vis-a-vis India, I have a feeling that BD wants India to more watch over its western border. Bad or good, it is our present plan. As for confrontation or keeping India worried about its eastern border, BD has to strengthen its military power that cannot be achieved without economic muscle.

However, note also that when a country keeps on striving for economic strength, its population gradually loses their confrontational attitudes and become tamed very naturally.

After a long 50 years of survival, but with 2 big killings and uprisings sponsored by India, BD may not choose to confront India because it will doom its survival as a nation. India will just kill the Heads of State as it did to Mujib and Ziaur Rahman. India's hand is too long now.

For us, the better option would be to make political amendments with Pakistan. This will keep India guessing what really is our intentions. It will keep both the former wings of Pakistan safer.

it is India that will confront Bangladesh, not the other way round. India is a bully that always picks on smaller countries and bends over for stronger nations. as the demographics change in West Bengal and North East the secession movements will increase. China has already said they will fuel these secession movements if India keeps supporting Tibet's secession. naturally West Bengal and probably North East will want to join Bangladesh when the time comes, and for that Bangladesh needs to be made stronger, and this will make our common enemy (India) weaker. but with a 3 way alliance of Pakistan, China, and Bangladesh, it will leave India in a vulnerable position where they know they cant take on all 3 nations at the same time and expect to win. if a few million Kashmiris can make India bleed so much, then hundreds of millions of Bengalis can bring India to its knees, especially if it can count on China and Pakistan to support it.

India's fear of its muslim population will keep increasing, the same way Europe is afraid of its rising muslim population and is acting aggressive towards them. India will persecute them and that will force the muslims of india to fight, even more so with a party like BJP at the helm. Bangladesh being a large group of muslims, with a rising muslim population at its borders makes them far more likely to splinter India than Pakistan ever could. India doesnt need to be conquered fully for it to be destroyed. only this illusion that India can exist in its present form needs to be shattered. once it gets one massive blow, then the rest of it will split off and become the small nations that India has been for almost all of its history. South India will separate from the rest, North India will become its own country, maybe Sikhs get their own country if they are willing to fight for it this time. when India is reduced to nothing but shards of glass, then Pakistan, Kashmir and Bangladesh will have peace.

Lol.... you are just checking your wounds again after fifty years if they gonna bleed or not !

what argument? the last post that was on topic from our little exchange was from me. i learnt from your great wisdom that we should only rely on china and that this would be great foreign and trade policy. you impressed upon me that Jinnah was anti-Pakistan because he was anti-Israel, and that we should fix this by becoming friends with Israel.
You were having a bout of violent tendencies when I said Pakistan should have good relations with ALL countries EXCEPT bangladesh and india..............................:azn:.....................I wonder why?....................:azn:...........................can you expalin that succinctly please?.............................:azn:
are you two 3 years old or what? behaving like brats out of school, please cut the crap & stay on topic

Your premise of alliance of BD, Pakistan, and China is wrong during a military confrontation. Do not expect China to confront India when the latter confronts its eastern and western countries. The USA will get involved causing the prospect of an Asian war that China probably cannot win.

So, my proposition is to get BD and Pakistan closer with each other and let India guess whatever may happen in a war with either one of the two. No General will love the prospect of fighting in two separate fronts 3000 km apart. It is a recipe of losing the war whatever may be the total strength of the two.

By the way, it is not India that attacked Pakistan in all the wars since 1947. Please cite one such war that was initiated by India. 1971 was basically our war against Pakistan that India helped to separate the two wings.

We cannot blame India when west Pakistan based PA troops invaded our land to teach lessons to the Kala Aadmi. Do you blame India for that?

Come on. Do you seriously think India had a hand in coups in Bangladesh? These are conspiracy with no evidence.

And what's with this masturbation of defeating India through an alliance with other countries/annexing parts of India? This is the 21st century, you can't just annex territories. If it was that easy then all of Bangladesh is flat land, completely indefensible. Even if a circular war breaks out with everyone in South Asia + China attacking India from all sides, India isn't going to break. It may lose badly, but it won't break. This isn't the medieval era. Last time something so big broke up was Ottoman Empire and more recently Yugoslavia. Only the former was from external intervention that resulted in foreign powers occupying anything.

I beg to differ vis-a-vis Pak-China & India-China relationships. It's been more than 6 decades since China-India rivalry has begun. They've fought one war in 1962 and several limited conflicts at LAC [Skirmishes till day]

Today, India strategic allies with US to deter China which raises eyebrow of China and if you have little knowledge about South Asia GEO-POL then you've must known that China never compromises on state security and to counter such threats it can go to any extent as possible.

Meanwhile, Chinese general says : 'Pakistan is our Israel'. Since India-China rivalry began Pakistan partnership with China became stronger and securer. It's china who helped us in formulating our nuclear weapons and tactical missiles. It's China who helping us in assembling modern aircrafts and military cooperations is deeper than your thinking. China supporting Pakistan in every front from economic growth to diplomacy literally in everything.

What has this got to do with Islam? Geopolitics has NOTHING to do with religion. Not even your beloved bangladeshis mix religion with politics. Look at how close bangladesh is with india. Try to live in the real world....................:disagree:

99.99% Bangladeshis would beg to differ with your statement -"how close bangladesh is with india".

Allah knows and all Bangladeshis know too.

It's one thing to not know something (and admit as such), quite another when you insist on spreading misinformation.

How many Bangladeshis do you know? Have you spoken to them? Did they tell you they like Indians and want to be 'close to them'? Borderline hilarious...

I normally don't engage with people who like to troll, but this is getting kind of ridiculous on the credibility scale...

India certainly does not entertain strong personalities in BD politics to lead the country. Mujib and Zia were killed by Indian conspiracy.

Why are you talking nonsense in response to my post.? where did I say Bd wants to annex your NE. Actually, you guys fear these things to happen. Be brave and fight for the integrity of the patchwork of your ragtag country.

geopolitics changes. nations come and go. one day communism will fall in China, the same way it does everywhere else. if China became a democracy, then they could easily ally/choose India over Pakistan. even Saudi helped us in building the nukes, but we have been moving further away from them. i am not disagreeing with you that China and Pakistan are strong allies. but will this be the case forever? i dont think so. forever is a long time.

Sorry the second part wasn't for you. I can't find it again but some post said that Bangladesh should annex parts of NE. I remember it, but not from you I think. About the conspiracy, do you have any evidence? How can you say India killed Mujib? Why would India needlessly destabilise neighboring country? Sheikh Hasina herself is the daughter, she's the Prime Minister too. If India had killed her father she certainly would have found it out and would be very hostile to India. Instead she's going after the real killers who she knows. In the Al Jazeera documentary it is shown how she protected the guys who killed someone connected to her father's killing.
