What are we supposed to be on the lookout for ? This isn't race, not to us, it isn't.
This is the path to development,... these numbers, these comparisons and the vitriol, it's all a consequence of that; sustained growth.
The point here is to improve our countries, whether we are one or two notches ahead or behind India (or any other country) is besides the point.
And realistically speaking any sort of economic comparison between India and Bangladesh is meaningless, I won't get into the details but I have explained this partly in earlier posts.
India is a completely different animal compared to Bangladesh, it thrives on internal consumption and the various state economies piggyback off of each other, it's different than Bangladesh; very different.
Of course, human development indices are still relevant and comparisons on those fronts can reveal critical data but economic comparisons... Not so much.
Then again, this is just me, others may see it differently.
