Yes hence why BBS is there to super-credibly do that, and now come to a conclusion (that now you have to somehow defend lol) that the average
BD person is WORSE OFF than 6 years ago.
Each household is consuming
LESS CALORIES than it did 6 years ago.
Why the hell did you bring poor
@doorster into this reply lol.
Its definitely more reliable than the nominal (with all that inflation) crap BD puts out directly thats for sure...but its no absolute, esp if we are to take it to mean for the broad 99% of BD people.
I mean your purchasing power parity per capita (even as flawed as the base nominal is) can simply be propelled by the 1% elite right? In fact thats exactly what BBS is saying:
Then add to that the absolute wretched state of BD financial sector:

And you lot seriously want to re-base your GDP with all this going on
@Cookie Monster the state of BD "progress" is mostly (maybe even entirely)
bad accounting of inflation, please also refer to:

Pakistan for better or for worse in its GDP growth etc... is not seeing a calorie intake decline among its households or 100%+ (because there seems to even be an extraction away form the poor in BD ...forget status quo stasis) ...caused by growth going to just the very rich (and they just dump the inflation on the poor and on the financial sector to try increase loans by the flawed GDP denominator before the bubble bursts)....because Pakistan does not launder inflation into its GDP base reference (at least to the extent BD clearly is now).
All this according to the same BBS that was used to make this assertion of "leaving behind Pakistan". You are free to see what I mean in the coming years when more and more SHTF from this dissonance, inflation laundering, declining household (broad 99% population) consumption (
EVEN IN CALORIE INTAKE) and financial sector stasis....and inability of BD to reform these crucial areas to get ahead of the (socioeconomic and quite probably political) bubble.
