Yup, IMO naval strength is the key because of your maritime disputes with Myanmar, maybe India too . Navy will help you secure those offshore oil reserves.

Thanks. But, ours will remain a deterrence force. People do not really want conflicts with other countries, so a deterrent military force is good for the peace of the region.

That is because of the angle of picture taken and suns reflection. Example:

Lol. Good try for an explanation but that is not for the lighting or angle of the camera. The painting job of the deck was not finished then. Her deck was painted with Red Oxide Primer coating and epoxy coatings were yet to be applied.

BN will now build another three (but some other report said another 25) of this patrol craft. Then it will go after building two units of 056 stealth corvettes with technical collaboration from China and after it receives two made-in-China 056s. This is what we have read in defense magazines.

BD should bite only what it can swallow. However, a time is not far away when we will build our own frigates and destroyers, albeit, with China's technical collaboration. It can happen five years from now. Our shipbuilding industry and technology are good, we are building ships for European market.
