45,000 primary and secondary schools and Madrasas in Bangladesh got multimedia classrooms, as the government is taking the initiative to build a knowledge and technology-oriented society.
The state minister for ITC Division Zunaid Ahemed Palak said, “The government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has a plan to ensure reliable and secure information and communication technology for sustainable development”.
The government has installed 2901 Sheikh Russel Digital lab across the country and 1000 more installation is underway, the government has also prepared multimedia digital contents for class 1 to class X, and along with that, the results will be published through website and SMS.
The Bangladesh government want to achieve further in the field of technology and digital development, their goal is to work on Digital Bangladesh.
The government had already started the digital campaign in the government offices, the electronic filing of systems stared in 2530 offices along with other digital services. The ICT affairs Adviser Wazed said the government wants to achieve digital Bangladesh within 2021.
He also added, “The government announced 10 percent cash incentives for exporting ICT products and IT services along with that the import duty reduced for 94 ICT products. The Government will also provide teachers to increase the skills and facilities to improve the creativity of the students and to maintain the overall learning process”.
“Under the supervision of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the International IT export Sajeeb Wajed Joy, we have been able to transform Digital Bangladesh into a reality,” said the State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak.
