Why let government flock you like sheep? Governments come and go. Neighbours stick around.Jack, El or anyone else can have their own take on any issue.
If the government in power takes a stand then that matters. They steer the government towards the declared policy. Which is of having good relations with India.
That is the bottom line.
Few relationships are unique. Government and electorate is one. Who flocks whom in this relationship is not very clear. Why let government flock you like sheep? Governments come and go. Neighbours stick around.
I think this view is too alarmist. Just because two neighbours don’t fight like cats and dogs doesn’t make them each other’s province. There are enough examples across the world.Soon this friendship will be so deep, Bangladesh will just be another province of India
Bangladesh both people and their republic have been nothing but gracious in their mature progressive outward mindset towards all neighbour's specially India.Few relationships are unique. Government and electorate is one. Who flocks whom in this relationship is not very clear.
My contention of the BD government stance of improving relationship doesn’t involve flocking/forcing it’s population into something bad.
It is a win win for both the countries and would benefit the population in the long run.
There were a lot of pending issues from the past that have been taken care of in the last decade or so.However the undignified nature of India's reciprocity towards Bangladesh can only be termed as ungrateful.
you mean simba was a bhutto?Scar was a more legitimate ruler than Simba.
Man they have copied coke studio as well..
wtf...
you mean simba was a bhutto?
i was kidding..i dont mind if bangla people make their own version of it..You do realize coke Studio is not exclusive to Pakistan? Coke Studio is present in several countries around the world. It's a global platform.
The word "Coke" is enough to give that indication.
But Pakistan is where it originally started and other countries (Egypt,Philippines,India and now Bangladesh) liked the idea and made their own versions.
That was Estúdio Coca-Cola an altogether different series of live concerts. That was not really "studio" music as its name says .. Coca cola used to have different series of concerts all over the world under different titles and this was one of them..The original "Coke Studio" was the one from Pakistan. In 2007 the concept of Coke Studio show was created by the Coca-Cola Company in Brazil. The concept was later adopted by Vital Signs member Rohail Hyatt and launched a Pakistani version of it in 2008.
- India has compromised with BD over the land enclaves. We got more than 10,000 acres of enclave lands by a treaty. However the undignified nature of India's reciprocity towards Bangladesh can only be termed as ungrateful.
Water security is pivotal. The nature of Indian governments dealing with Bangladesh on the matter is absolutely undignified. There were a lot of pending issues from the past that have been taken care of in the last decade or so.
Few issues are yet to be resolved. Teesta is one such case.
Mature governments don’t fret over pending issues but try and work around them. They move on and explore the areas that can work for each side. That is what seems to be happening.
Your terming this interaction “undignified” doesn’t sound right. It sounds like a jealous neighbour not happy with other neighbours getting along.

- India accepted the Sea verdict and we have no issue of delimitation of sea with India.
So what undignified treatment is this? What others do you want us to get from India? Give us land up to Lukhnou?
Ganga oceanWhich ocean?
