I never rejected their supporting role. They were supporting actor in the movie. And they played their supporting role very well. B@stards got lucky. Since they were lucky unlike BLA and TTP that main actor (Indian military) was there to save their as$.
Poor BLA and TTP wasn't that lucky.
It is a fact, and there is no denying it. The Indian Army AND a resistance movement together were an unbeatable combination. There is no point in going into alternative history, but things could have got much stickier, very easily. There was, in fact, an epic resistance put up in one corner by an isolated PA detachment, which, if it had been replicated elsewhere, could have become a real headache. As it happened, that didn't happen; MB intelligence and scouting was outstanding. The PA were out-manoeuvred and demoralised. They realised their isolation, as the Razakars took to their heels and let them down in mid-battle, and it didn't do their fighting spirit much good.
You are trying to sugar coat the reality for MB lovers. Everyone knows without Indian army what would have happened to them.
