Bangladesh government in search of new allies in Asia

. . . .
On Topic, Bangladesh, Pakistan happy with China. We are happy with Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar, Vietnam, Japan, SK, Mongolia, Taiwan, Russia. If China can say we have good relation with Vietnam then we can say we have good relation with Bangladesh. Simple !!

But Still, Vietnam is official friend of India and enemy of China. But Don't know when Bangladesh will break all relation with India . I hope it happens soon, My genuine wish to make it balance :)

Already said in Post # 2 as China will be best friend of BD. Don't need to do search. Already everyone knows. No Surprise. :coffee:

Why does India wish for a break up with Bangladesh? I thought the more friends you had, the better?

Here is are some fun things:
Most of the Bangladeshis here are young people, frustrated with the current government (which aligns itself more with India). As for me, I can safely say that the current government barely has control over anything. Hell, they don't even give a damn about plants growing over the concrete of flyovers

This frustration has always been around.

Even bridges fall apart!

Now, some of the Indians here on the other hand are right wing supporters of the BJP. Now, of-course, not all Indians in real life are like that. The ones that are however; are attracted to 'Pakistan Defense Forum' just to fuel their causes and feel good about themselves :P This Bangladesh sub-forum is even more so.

Also, the Weekly Blitz is hardly a reliable source of news for Bangladesh. The author even posts many fake news and claims about his own country. The man should have been executed a long time ago.

Don't go by sentiments in the PDF. Ground realities are much different than what's projected here by members of both countries.

because Bangladesh is making all effort to break tie-up with evil India. We have to respect her choice. We can't force. do we ? But we adding many times more friends than enemy. so no problem !!

I've learnt that very well. In real life the Pakistanis/Indians/Chinese/Bangladeshis are 300 times as different from some of the radicals you meet here.

Maybe that has more to do with a lack of diplomatic skills from your politicians rather than Bangladesh making an effort for a break up. With skilled politicians and diplomats, there is no reason for any country to be enemies with their neighbours.

I feel that Bangladesh is not given due importance in Indian foreign policy. I believe they should give more.

It has already been speculated that the Bangladeshi diplomats aren't exactly trained for diplomacy. All, thanks to the current foreign minister.
