7.9% growth rate this year and 7.5% next year is why people are willing to put up with AL rule.
Even when Pakistan was helping itself to BD resources during 1947-1971 it did not even come close to this growth rate.

Pakistan even surpassed 10% several times..

Between 7.3% (2017 BD GDP) and 5.7% (2017 Pakistan GDP), there is a difference of 1.6%.

Pakistan and India are not much better.

You do not change a city like Dhaka overnight.

At this moment the following is being done for Dhaka:

1. Metro Line
2. Elevated Expressway
3. Bus Rapid Mass Transport.

These are just the start of the Dhaka RSTP 2035 that when completed will give Dhaka and the surrounding areas some of the best transport infrastructure.

AL win was critical for BD economic progress and the growth rate can only accelerate to become the fastest in the region now.

These kind of majority wins are only found in North Korea and Eritrea . You must be really delusional to think these elections were anything but a sham.

Gandhi was actually good and was bit pro-Pakistani.

But I can't stand looking at women as leaders of countries. i.e. Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren. These senior citizens should just retire and stay at home. Let Bengalis have a new young person to lead—a man without the family name "Sheikh". Same with America next year (2020).

Pakistani PM is new blood. Khan Sahib has more charisma than the top leaders of the world combined.

1. High economic growth - ticked
2. High infrastructure investment - ticked

But what's the benefit if this average is calculated because of few individuals making more money?

We have brought down extreme poverty under acceptable levels.. what it means that even if our per capita is 1500, the income is rather more equally distributed..

You guys need to work on that for some years..

Look at BD in the mid-1990s(https://tradingeconomics.com/bangladesh/corruption-rank):

According to TI, BD was super-clean in the mid-1990s! We know this is not true.

Also look at how BD went down 20 points in the first 2 years of AL rule and then went higher again. Also during BNP regime in mid-2000s it was much worse.
