Bangladesh formally joins UN treaty on prohibition of nuclear weapons

This is wishful thinking.

Nuclear weapons cannot be developed in a short span and withdrawal from NPT will invite 'consequences'. NPT is not a bar where anybody can come and leave as they please.

Iraq, Iran and DPRK are relevant case studies. DPRK is a nuclear power but at the expense of economic prosperity.

That is why I stated around 2030 when the world become truly multi-polar.
BD will also become stronger economically and militarily.

There will be some blowback but BD should be able to weather it relatively lightly.

Listen bud.

I can't see any scenario where Bangladesh is in possession of nuclear weapons.

This signing was just a formality but practically meaningless.
