Bangladesh for sale – or already sold?

I don't get it.I read the proposal and I didn't find anything great in the package for us.All I saw was infrastructure development for Bangladesh and nothing for India.$1 billion for transit points? You can get a fleet of cargo planes for that kind of cash.Any ideas on how we are to recover that money?This is bogus at best.It's absurd to think we have money lying around to splurge for silly causes.

At least if we invested that much money on the pipeline with Pakistan,we will see some results.

Apparently they have incurred great ill will amongst those out here.

Is it the same with all the people of BD?

That will probably happen in the next election itself.

I am not any party supporter. My full family made their Voter-ID cards to be able to vote in BD, but i purposely did not...as i dont want to "vote" my country two steps back every term.

Regardless of hasina or khaleda, both row the same boat and have same agendas - looting the country...while the people vote, expect and ultimately suffer. None deserved to be where they are...both should go in exile.

Pro-party members may not like my viewpoint but face the fact...a hard pill to swallow but its true.

That will probably happen in the next election itself.

Whether Sunita Paul is credible or not (as her articles should be taken with a pinch of salt), I still believe that AL is selling out the nation, if it's not already sold. And before Indians here continue to take things out of proportion residing to personal attacks and saying that we should have stayed with Pakistan and etc, they should also understand that though India-BD relations are possible, AL always goes overboard on the Pro-India policy as mentioned by another poster.

Transit through BD makes sense.

Isn't that logical?

Now, even if it does not happen, will India wither and die?

Myanmar is building a road to India and so Yangon would be the port of call if BD is not.

Where there is a will, there is a way!
