Who are claiming that if BNP will come to power again then it will take BD in the dark age again, they are either spreading propaganda or living in fool's paradise.
They must have to remember that the darkest age of Bangladesh was BAKSHAL era, where peoples died in famine and they were even prevented to beg in airport area.
Because foreigners will know that relief food money all are looting by Awami BAKSHALi thugs, and peoples are dying in starvation.
Only Awami BAKSHAL heinous scums can loot relief money during famine.
Also BAKSHAL demoted us to subject from citizen. So if BAKSHAL party now can do better job, so BNP also can do the same in future.

As I said she should come to power for one more time in order to continue the development and also military equipment buying and upgrading.
But she shouldn't be elected with super majority of 200+ seats.
Such majority is too much harmful for Bangladesh.
We saw the first result of super majority in previous BNP regime.
However although I want hasina for another time, still I will vote ( if any election occur) against BAL as already did here.
But if really any strong 3rd party will get around 60/70 seats this will be the finest achievement of Bangladesh IMHO.
Seriously Bangladesh need freedom from 2 dynastic party.
PS:
If Awami League again come to power they should get less than 146 (1996 election) seats though.

I fully agree with you. These super majority is the reason ruling party show autocratic tendency, do not count opposition and harass them in heavy handed tactic. It is very bad for normal democratic process to continue smoothly.

If BD peoples have dignity then no party will get vote by licking Indian boot.

The Pakistani counterpart still continues in the same name if I remember right.

Awami League splinted from Original Muslim league in 1949 as a 'Awami Muslim League'. Initially Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani was it's leader, Then HS Suhrawardy. In 1955, 'Muslim' dropped from the party name to make it welcoming to all people irrespective of religion. Sheikh Mujib did not become head of the party until HS Suhrawardy died in around 1962 or 1963.
