Bangladesh Election 2018 - PDF Poll

Who is your preferred party currently?

  • Total voters
    42
  • Poll closed .
Better go for Ashol BNP......
:D Oi jinis pamu koi vai?

Well if you can bring asol BNP again anytime I will vote for them, who strongly follow the development model of ziaur rahman, not the lootpat model of 2001-2006 regime .

Prothom Bangladesh amar shesh Bangladesh, jibon Bangladesh amar moron Bangladesh ( a Bengali patriotic song ) , should be a vow, not a cover to loot.

Then I will choose this BNP anytime over Awami League Because I am basically anti leftist person .
Man, I could get behind BNP if it had Saifur Rahman or Jamiruddin Sarkar as the party chairperson....or pm candidate
Yes they are good very good person. And other good persons are.neglected in BNP now. Sad indeed.

What the hell is this party nagorik oikko
এইখানে দেখেন
Since most of guys don't know about it unlike bikolpo dhara or qader siddique league, so I am hopeful that mahmudur Rahman Manna can do better in future ( maybe after 5 years!) . Imran Khan did very well in Pakistan, So I am also hopeful about a successful 3rd party in BD.
And after all he was someone who planed "minus two " with military during Fakhruddin regime.

BNP+BAL votes will be more than 80%.
Third party isnt possible as those are not so floating.
I think it's possible in near future. Look after the autocracy of Ershad, in 1991 election there was lots of floating voters.
So after 10 years of awami autocracy , they should be increasing in numbers again, at least in theory.
What if other small parties made an alliance together and voters who have no faith in two major parties then?
Like you were Awami supporters at past and now became different right ?
It's same for me , I voted for Awami League in 2009, and didn't vote anyone in 2014 election as it was not a fair election .
And also after this election and two years of unrest ( that was countered very well by hasina) , Awami League took its extreme chetona business in a new height where even it's own supportes are becoming fed up with them (except few) , so probably they will not vote for BAL, as I suppose you also won't vote them.
So if really someone can form a third party surely I will vote for them as a gamble as I have nothing to lose if I don't vite for major two parties .
So if Bangladeshi remain hujuge bengal then probably they will again fall under the prey of these two parties.
If they became slightly better than there standard , then surely they will want a change. So they can vote for other party.
Although I am too much doubtful because I know ( you and others too know ) the nature of Bengali, so I also don't hope, still I will vote for "nagorik oikko", if BNP come to election. But if BNP don't take part in the election , then I may not go to vote center l because it will be useless and waste of time.

BAL's popularity would drastically increase if they could keep their chatra league scums in check and stop naming everything after Bongobondhu... And abolish the stupid quota system(which they might be doing eventually)

If BNP will do the same,.then BAL will not come to power soon.
There are no places for leftist seculars in BD.
Even not today ( so called modern era) , if Awami League can be right winger and stop chetona business, and by this time BNP will recover, then BAL will be in trouble. They have no political ideology except 47 years old chetona hypocrisy and its more severe then the name of bongobondhu.
I am surprised why even a daughter can give bad name to her father in order to survive in politics. What kind of business is that of hasina. If power greater than own parents?
Maybe, only they know better.

mahmudur Rahman Manna

But he does not look charismatic.

Important for getting fan base quickly and heavily.

there was lots of floating voters.
So after 10 years of awami autocracy , they should be increasing in numbers again, at least in theory.

We need to know whether the BD voters and floating voters emphasize on ideology, or performance.

If ideology, then 3rd party has low chance, if performance, then 3rd party has greater chance.

I think BAL and BNP's fan base are different on the basis of ideology, not because who is more corrupted or who perform better.

Because of difference in ideology, it is hard to appreciate the good works of others. That's why we all are fighting here with each other.

.

Yes but atleast no one can stop BAL wining next election as this plot is already prepared. So maybe he will work fine in future.
Look at Bhashani, he is the main founder of awami Muslim league and then sohrawardi became chairman.
Then Bhashani made nap but NAP never got market.
So if charismatic leader like Bhashani failed , then it's possible for a leader who has no charisma, will shine.
As there is nothing final in politics, and specially if really our intelligence agencies are controling the core of politics.
Lets see what happen in future.
It's hypothesis, seems impossible In current cult like political ideology , still I can dream, dream of a prosperous Bangladesh with healthy politics, where many parties are active not only two who made us sort of hostage.
And also look at am admi party in India, we can hope atleast.
If not manna then others, but surely need third party so BAL and bnp don't dare to think themselves invincible, and then such chaotic situation will never back.

.
BAL's popularity would drastically increase if they could keep their chatra league scums in check and stop naming everything after Bongobondhu... And abolish the stupid quota system(which they might be doing eventually)

you are right, but pls dont tell these tips to them, let them make mistakes, lol

Exactly I agree 100 %. That's why I suggest back 3rd party with rightwing ideology can represent moderate Muslims.
So atleast moderate Muslims won't have to choose the chetona clown as alternative to BNP or any right wing.
If it happen, then a fair politics will start.
Leftist are not welcome in BD . If only we can get another chetona free party then it will be a balance, as in BD no secular ideology exist .
So surely if we want a balance then we need to end chetona business. Lets see if BAL can survive with its leftist ideology when chetona will be abolished.
Or BAL can choose right wing ideology , and can stop Indian sycophancy and also stop harping about 71 that is soon becoming obsolete.
@Skies

you are right, but pls dont tell these tips to them, let them make mistakes, lol
If he tell it to them then they will instantly tag him as @Mage atheist razakar ( as razakar became a slur word despite its own meaning) I can bet my house on it lol .
Because if Mage give them such suggestions, surely they will assume that Mage is Jamat shibir who is trying to abolish the name of Mujib hehe.

Andalib R Partha is very charismatic. Why does not he form a 3rd party alone?

Cos may be he knows that BD people are not ready to think beyond two parties.

When people will value a party on the basis of performance (no ideology), then 3rd parties will have true chance. In that sense, @Mage is ahead of us, lol

I think in Pakistan (unlike BD and Bharat), the ideological difference between parties are very low. That's the reason of raise of Imran Khan.

In BD there is no environment of positive political development. Its just mixup of everything. New parties arent created like post independence. Old parties have set too much influence / examples for political leverage. Presstitutes dont highlight for new leadership enough. That is necessary to gather momentum. New parties/people dont have enough patronage from different institutions and didnt set enough examples for people to follow. Or people dont subscribe to new ideas/people. Worthless people with less analytical/reasoning minds. And cruel politics, only lower strata of people can come forward with killing/beating power etc. I dont mind AAM admi type parties, if that is possible.

I see day by day AL's popularity is only increasing. Because people dont know any other items. I may be critical to AL but I dont know any other party to support. If my local man have good example I should support. But from national level those options are limited. Majority of BD people are younger generation and they are already brainwashed with AL propagandas. So AL support is only increasing. People maybe critical but they dont have any other options. From my personal experience traditional BNP families' younger generations are mostly supporting AL. Plus AL just suck the vote banks of its alliances and leave them empty with the examples/performances as they are on driving force. Same was for BNP.

In the past these political parties were needed to drive inefficient bureaucracies. Presently bureaucracy is too strong and can go without politics. Politics is rather spoiling bureaucracies. I have faith in bureaucracies not in politics. Im ok if majority of parties make alliances and go for stable country for long terms. No need of multiple jobless parties. They are just waiting to start fresh and follow same footsteps in different directions. Im happy BD could achieve 2 major powers in the country, its very much needed. But one party in power leaves another jobless and try to suppress other, its disgusting. As BD already have less numbers of capable people, I hope to see actually one party and no need of people getting divided like China. If 2 house system could be implemented that would be great, absorbing civil+elite societies. Maybe these are wishful thinking. Actually people aren’t aspiring for any major changes in the country's constitution right now and any political turmoil, looking forward to see development and stability. My personal discord with AL is degrading law and order, corruption and the charal/chamar type people have too much to say with anti majority agenda. And personal freedom is reduced. Even my Internet activities are monitored. BNP time was also not that different so I can live with these. BNP in its current form actually dont deserve to be stay in the political arena with no proper political history. In its time more and more national leaders got killed and suppressed, making way for unwanted elements and if it had any national agenda it couldn’t make itself clear. Its not proper way and its responsible for many of the country's problems today. If they come unanimously, massacre will follow. I dont want too much of those and hope AL will sort out its problems, want BNP to follow democracy 2.0 as stated above and prepare to come back in distant future.

Except this part I agree with most of your analysis .
Actually we civilians really don't know what's happy to.the military.
And also military has its own rules and regulations, and there is no place for political recruitment here.
However you see only military job is free from vicious quota system, even the most heinous freedom fighter Awami hypocrite Quota also unavailable there.
I would spare our military in that case .

BNP is the party of looters lead by its depredetor Prince aka Tarek Chora.

If BNP somehow manages to come back to power they will again take the country to its dark age where we had to pass 70% of the day in dark without any electricity. Lol.

BNP in its last term did nothing other than Killing, looting and siphoning the public money. It's really sad that BAL is allowing Tarek Chora to lead a lavish lifestyle in UK with all the money he looted from us-the common public. If we compare the life standards of people during BNP'S period with AL'S period we will see a vast difference since the living standard of people in BD improved leaps and bounds in last 5/10 years.

Why wouldn't it improve? At least now they r governed by a party that actually cares about country and have a proper vision about where they actually wanna see BD economy after a certaint period of time. :coffee:
