How about a compare and contrast analysis between MRLS and mobile artillery? What are their specific roles? Advantages and disadvantages?

In the long term we need to have a fundamental and strategic defence objective of achieving ballistic parity with India i.e. we have a ballistic arsenal that can target any region of India including the west and south.

If our military decides to pursue this nothing can stop us and it is only a matter of time (not if) when this is realized. We could even ask our brothers the Turks (who want to build ICBMs) to help us.

@Imran Khan sun rahe ho, Bangladesh has plans of building IRBM/ICMBs.

This is what we need to strive for in the long-term and it is perfectly realizable.

BD military expenditure - $1.3 bn.

Cost of an IRBM/ICBM - $10+ million (depending on range)

Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles

The Brazilians reportedly ex-pected to receive in excess of $10 million each for their Condor II, whose range of 1,000 km is much less than intercontinental, and the Chinese apparently received about $20 million for each of the 2,500-km range CSS-2s they sold to Saudi Arabia. Many studies within the United States indicate that the Peacekeeper, a highly capable and advanced missile, costs the military about $65 million per copy.

At $50 million per missile, a country would need to invest about $2 billion to purchase or build 40 missiles. When this is compared to the roughly $200 million the Iraqis paid to build their Saad 16 missile manufacturing facility, it becomes clear that the economies of many countries cannot support a nuclear weapons production capa-bility and an ICBM launch capability.
