As far as my knowledge is concerned, the Armed Forces of the BD tries to isolate itself from the realpolitik in BD. It's a good thing that they acted on their own in general sense, at the sametime, we need to hear back from them why do they think that India poses a greater threat to them while Burma doesn't, is that related to intelligence gatherings? or is that a judgment? Estimation?

The OP kind of describes how India has infiltrated Bangladesh with pro-India political party Awami League and its supporters. Even the Army and its officers have become divided, with many in our military intelligence ended up on the pay roll of Indian intelligence, R&AW. That is the allegation made in OP, not sure how much of it is true, as I do not have first hand knowledge. But I have access within the Armed forces, so it should not be difficult to verify.

Burma has a small few hundred miles border with us and we have some mutual issues like maritime boundary which was settled by UN arbitration and now the only issue yet to be resolved is the Rohingya refugee issue. Other than this, they are a smaller nation than us and do not pose a threat to us, like India does, with its effort to interfere, meddle and control Bangladesh using its proxy political party.

Odikhar an human rights organization recently been attacked by Awami League regime and Odikhar secretary had been tortured and prisoned. Awami League regime targeted Odikhar and its secretary because, it has documented evidence of Awami League massacre against Hefajot which was protesting against Awami League and its associates parties assault on Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and against Islam. All western countries and human rights organizations including UN condemned Awami League torture and imprisonment. When Awami League foreign minister called for a diplomatic briefings most western and Muslim and Arab countries sent their deputies clear indication of disapproval to Awami League killing and brutalities.

But there were only handful of ambassadors showed up in the briefing that includes india, Saudi Arabia and Russia. It is understood why indian and Russian ambassadors were there. But Saudi Ambassador!!!!! This is just an indication how Saudi Arab (or its current Ambassador, Abdullah al-Bussairy) sees Bangladesh political discourse. Mr. Abdullah al-Bussairy time and again went against Bangladesh majority population aspiration and against popular sentiment. In recent times, it is not hard to see Saudi alignment along with indian interest than the host Bangladesh.Only Saudi knows and decides on their interest BUT it is for sure Bangladeshis can count on Saudi Arab as we had done even just few years ago.

It is also understood that Joy also wrote a big article demonizing Dr. Yunus and Grameen Bank. Quintessentially packed with lies and something that'll only come out of a hopelessly delusional man. This was published in the Daily Star some years back.
